Boris Pevzner - The Next One Billion Users: How LiveArt is Gamifying RWA Ownership In Web3

CEO & Co-Founder of LiveArt

“A Giant $2 Trillion Asset Class”

On today’s livestream, I’ll be sitting down with Web3 pioneer, entrepreneur, computer scientist and art enthusiast Boris Pevzner. Boris is the visionary Co-Founder and CEO of LiveArt, a groundbreaking platform connecting the world of art with the transformative potential of Web3.

The art world is undergoing a seismic shift, driven by blockchain’s ability to turn previously illiquid assets into easily tradable digital commodities. With art sales stabilising at around $70 billion annually, the sector has seen consistent growth over the past three decades, even outperforming traditional assets like stocks and gold.

However, art investment has remained largely the domain of the elite, with high entry costs and limited liquidity keeping many potential investors out. LiveArt aims to change that by making art ownership accessible to the masses, by introducing artists and creators to the world of blockchain and the crypto investors to a unique investment opportunity with enormous potential.

With a track record of founding and leading several successful ventures, Boris has spent his career at the cutting edge of technology and innovation. Before LiveArt, he applied “platform thinking” to help Global 1000 companies like American Express, Marriott, and BP digitally transform as President of Lontra.

His entrepreneurial journey also includes the creation of Carggo, a digital logistics company that leveraged AI to revolutionise freight transportation. Not stopping there, Boris made waves in the art industry with Collectrium, a global platform for managing and trading art and collectibles, that was later acquired by the world renowned Christie’s auction house in 2015.

But for Boris it is in the explosive growth of blockchain technology that he sees the immediate and long term future. Through LiveArt he hopes to bring “the next billion users” to Web3 and unlock the 2 trillion dollar ArtFi marketplace.

The vast majority of value in the art world centres around 200 of the world’s leading artists, yet most are not remotely engaged with Web3, blockchain technology and the established and enormously enthusiastic crypto communities that reside there.

LiveArt’s goal is to catapult the legacy art world into the digital age, by creating a seamless bridge between the tremendous value that already exists and the huge potential emerging in the Web3 ecosystem.

“This transformation is going to touch every creator and consumer of art content.”

Through tokenisation and fractional ownership, LiveArt offers a new way for investors to own shares in high-value art pieces without needing millions of dollars to acquire entire works. This opens up art investment to a broader audience, democratising access to what has historically been an exclusive asset class.

LiveArt also leverages AI and blockchain technologies to provide real-time market data, including pricing, trends, and trading signals for over 10 million artworks, 350,000 artists, and 3,000 auction houses worldwide. This empowers investors with predictive pricing models and real-time insights, allowing them to make more informed decisions in the market.

A key component of LiveArt’s ecosystem is the upcoming launch of the $ART utility token which will offer exclusive access to art drops, governance features, and a share in fractionalised art ownership. This token is designed to deepen engagement within the LiveArt community, which already boasts over 1 million Web3 buyers across Asia and the West.

“In a world where traditional investment classes remain elusive to the many, LiveArt emerges as a groundbreaking platform at the confluence of art, technology, and finance.”

I’m really looking forward to sitting down with Boris as LiveArt is one of our portfolio companies at London Real Ventures and his insights on the future of art, blockchain, and the untapped potential of crypto investment might explain the enormous interest in digital ownership of art and why so many major investment firms are sitting up and taking notice. As far as Boris is concerned, Web3 is creating a better world, one asset class at a time.

Whether you’re a tech enthusiast, art collector, or curious about the future of digital ownership, this interview will be packed full of fascinating insights, so be sure to tune in and share the link with any burgeoning investors looking for a way to protect their wealth in these turbulent times.

“Our goal is to democratise art investment, enrich our cultural landscape, and open the doors to unprecedented opportunities in the art market.”
