Race, gender and identity politics

Douglas Murray, an associate editor of The Spectator, examines the modern debates over gender, race and identity in his book The Madness of Crowds. James Lindsay, an author, mathematician and co-founder of New Discourses, argues that what he calls wokeness is radicalising people. Dennis Prager, a radio host who has broadcast in Los Angeles since 1982, argues that America is not a racist nation and challenges the systemic racism narrative. Candace Owens, founder of the BLEXIT foundation, sets out how she believes Black America can fight back against what she describes as the Democratic Party’s long history of racism.

Culture, comedy and free expression

John Cleese, a founding member of Monty Python, argues that modern culture has stifled comedy and shifted what people find funny. Comedian and actor Eddie Izzard shares creative wisdom and political opinions. Rep. Dan Crenshaw, a former Navy SEAL officer elected to the US Congress, talks about how America can show resilience in an era of outrage. YouTuber Hannah Witton discusses sex, contraception, gender and pornography, the topics she covers in her weekly videos. Clinical psychologist Dr Jordan Peterson sets out his rules for living a meaningful life.

Nation, politics and belonging

Derek Laud, who has worked in British party politics, gives his views on immigration and the big picture of events. The late Charlie Kirk (1993 to 2025), co-founder of Turning Point USA, talked to Brian in 2020 about Big Tech and the lockdowns. In It’s Time To Re-Open America Candace Owens argues that her freedom does not end where someone else’s fear begins.
