Full transcript: Dr Joe Dispenza on London Real
2:55 This is London Real. I am Brian Rose. My guest today is This is London Real. I am Brian Rose. My guest today is Dr.
3:08 Joe Dispenza, the international speaker, researcher and best-selling author. Your interest lies in demystifying the mystical so that people have all the tools within their reach to make measurable changes in their lives. You’ve traveled the world educating people about the role and function of the human brain, and your research in the fields of neuroscience, epigenetics and quantum physics has led you to develop a practical formula to help people transform their lives.
3:34 As an author, your books including Becoming Supernatural, Evolve Your Brain: The Science of Changing Your Mind, and Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself have all featured on the New York Times bestseller list. You believe that by holding on to the emotions of the past, people from all walks of life struggle to create a new future for themselves, limiting their potential and ultimately their pursuit of happiness. Your teachings help me process my own long-held trauma about my parents’ divorce, which featured in our London Real documentary film Reconnect and were instrumental in empowering me to change my perspective and deal with my own unconscious behaviors.
4:10 So, Dr. Joe, welcome back to London Real. Thank you, Brian. I’m always happy to be with you. Oh man, so great to have you here.
4:16 The last time I think you were here was three years ago and I was about to take a trip home to San Diego to confront, film, talk to my parents about the divorce that happened when I was seven years old, and I was very anxious. Um, this was coming back off the back of some work I had done with some psychedelics and some introspective, and I think I was leaving the week after and you were here and you gave me some incredible advice that was featured in the film. And, uh, yeah, I just want to say thank you for that because it was literally everything that you’ve been talking to me about for so many years.
4:48 And you said, Brian, you know, you have this memory that isn’t necessarily the truth and you need to examine it to find out how you can go to the next level. And I literally did it in real time with your voice narrating through this film. So, so thank you, because now I look at that event very, very differently, almost empowering to me as opposed to this limiting belief. But I was stuck in my brain, sure, in the past with this memory. So I think, I think when our perception about the past changes, our perception about the future changes as well.
5:20 Oh man, so much so. And it was so strange because I just locked onto this narrative and I just ran it on autoplay in my brain, and of course it was true because I said it was true. And I actually spoke to my parents and realized that this wasn’t the worst thing that happened to me. Maybe it was the best thing that happened to me, and maybe one of the best things that happened to them too. And it wasn’t them letting me down as a child, it was almost letting them each break free and become the versions of themselves they needed to be.
5:49 And so sometimes I actually have to correct people now when they say, “Oh, your mom and dad did that to you,” and I’m like, “No, no, no, no, that’s not what it was.” It was actually something that I see now as a defining moment for me as a human. Sure. And I think it’s important for us to examine that because it’s so easy to become that, you know, later on in our life, because that’s our exposure to what we think love is, what we think family is about, and it’s just the narrative or the story that we tell about, tell about the past that fills in the gaps of the things we don’t understand.
6:22 So we make up a story about that part we don’t understand, and that becomes what we fire and wire in our brain, and then that analysis really just, there’s no answers in that analysis. I think, I think we have to step outside of the analysis and the emotions, but to kind of see it the way it really is. So I think it’s healthy and and for the most part I think we can change as a result of it. Is this a lot of the work ultimately that you do with people? Is, I know you do lots of different things and I want to get into it today, but is looking at some of those loops or those traumas of the past or those memories and trying to free them up to move to the next step.
6:59 Is that a big part of what you do? Um, you know, the process of change, what I’ve discovered, requires unlearning. That’s the hard part about change, is unlearning, and then it’s relearning. It’s literally breaking habits that we have within ourselves, and then after we break those habits of thought, of behavior and emotion, then it’s to reinvent a new self. It’s pruning synaptic connections and sprouting new connections.
7:25 It’s unfiring and unwiring and re-firing, rewiring. It’s losing your mind really and creating a new one. It’s deprogramming and reprogramming. Uh, it’s unmemorizing emotions that are stored in the body and then reconditioning the body to a new mind, into a new emotion. And so everybody has a story about the past or their past, and we tell those stories based on the emotions we experience from the past.
7:50 And the stronger the emotion that we feel from some incident, some experience in our life, the more altered we are inside of us, the more we pay attention to what’s causing it, and that moment becomes a moment frozen in time and the brain takes a series of snapshots and that’s called the memory. So then we think neurologically within the circuits of our own personal subjective experience of that reality based on the feeling that we get from the experience. I think the problem is that most people don’t know that when they think about the event, they’re producing the same changes chemically in their brain and bodies as if the event was occurring.
8:29 So you review the event 50 to 100 times in one day and it takes the thought and the feeling, the images and the emotions, the stimulus and response that starts the conditioning process of the body actually living in the past. Now the challenge is the firing and wiring of that memory may not be the truth, but it’s the truth for you, and the emotions then become the boundary of what feels familiar and what feels known. And so a person can actually live a healthy life and go on with their life a whole way in spite of the trauma.
9:02 The challenge is by living by that same emotion it becomes so familiar to us that guilt or shame or unworthiness or fear just becomes how we normally feel. And so those feelings tend to drive our thoughts, right? And if you can’t think greater than how you feel, and feelings and emotions are the record of the past, then for the most part you’re thinking in the past. And of how you think and how you feel creates your state of being, well, your entire state of being is in the past.
9:27 Now the challenge is that the body is so objective, it doesn’t know the difference between the event that created the trauma 15, 30, 40, 50, 60 years ago and the chemistry, the emotion that you’re creating by thought alone. The body’s believing it’s living in the same past experience. So then the person is actually viewing or perceiving reality through the lens of the past, and so anything that triggers, anything that they can associate that’s relatively familiar, then the big thing is, get ready because you don’t want that to happen again in your future.
10:01 So the brain is always forecasting the worst case scenario based on the memory of the past. And now the brain is actually coming up with that worst case scenario because if you prepare for the worst, there’s better chances of surviving whatever that trauma is going to be again. So the challenge then is that we start out of the infinite potentials in the quantum field. We’re selecting really one of the worst outcomes we could possibly imagine, embellishing that outcome and then emotionally embracing that future before it happens in the anticipation of the event.
10:35 And now we’re taking that thought and the feeling, the image and the emotion, the stimulus and response, and we’re conditioning the body and the brain into looking like that future event has already occurred. And the stronger the emotion we feel from whatever we’re imagining, the more we pay attention to what we’re imagining, and we’re embossing that circuitry further in the brain and we’re emotionally conditioning the body more into that emotional state. So if the familiar past in the conditioning process is the known, and the predictable or anticipated future is the known, there’s only one place where the unknown exists, and that’s the sweet spot of that present moment.
11:12 Now the person can live a normal life feeling those emotions and being successful and having relationships and all that stuff until it comes time where they get a diagnosis, or it comes time where they go bankrupt, or there comes time where they are ending a relationship or something goes wrong or they want to create a new career or a new life, and now all of a sudden they come right up against their past. Why? Because that’s what’s been defining them all along.
11:40 And all I’m asking to do is stop telling the story of your past and start telling the story of your future. Stop believing in your past, real or imagined, and start believing in your future. Stop romancing the past and let’s start romancing a future. So the unlearning process then, you know, 95 percent of who we are is a set of memorized behaviors, you know, automatic emotional responses, unconscious habits, hardwired attitudes, beliefs and perceptions that are automatic like a computer program.
12:16 So if we’re in a program, then we’re unconscious. So in order for us to change we have to become conscious of our unconscious thoughts, and the story and the narrative that we tell, and those memories, to become familiar with how we speak or how we act, and become so conscious that we don’t go unconscious to that behavior. And then we have to look at the emotions that we live by every single day and realize, are these emotions loving to me? And all of a sudden, name it.
12:46 “Wow, this is actually guilt. I just didn’t know it was guilt. It’s just, or unworthiness. It’s just how I normally feel, and I use everything and everyone in my life to make this feeling go away.” But if I’m relying on my outer world to change my inner world, when things are good I’ll, I’ll feel good, but when things are bad I’ll feel bad.
13:02 So changing your emotional responses to the challenges and circumstances in your life and no longer living by that emotion is no different than the withdrawals we get from a drug, because no new information can enter the nervous system that’s not equal to the emotion the person is processing. So then you can tell the person the answer to the problems in their life, but if, unless they overcome that emotion, they’ll be perceiving reality through that lens, a lens of the past. So then the fundamental point here is that the trauma then that the person is experiencing from the past, they’re reliving that every single day.
13:43 So then when it comes time to be defined by a vision of the future, if you’re living in the past, it’s so much easier to forget that vision than to remember it. So how do we remember the vision of the future? Well, we got to feel the feeling of the emotion before it occurs, before the event occurs. And if you’re feeling the emotion before the event occurs, if you really practice trading resentment or impatience or sadness for an elevated emotion, you teach people the science behind that.
14:11 If they’re feeling the emotions of their future, they’ll believe in their future more than they believe in their past. Teach them how to hold the intention of what that future is, and you take that thought and the feeling, the image and the emotion, the stimulus and response, and you can actually condition the brain and body into a different state of being. What’s the importance of that? Somehow the disease is there, and now the disease is gone. Somehow the person’s life wasn’t changing because they weren’t changing.
14:41 The moment they start changing the way they think and the way they act and the way they feel, all of a sudden their life starts to change. So what’s the importance of that? Well, if you’re doing the work and you’re seeing your life changing, you’re going to want to do more of it. So you become a work in progress. So then you’re always looking for the blind spots.
14:57 You know, it’s no longer about your healing. You’re not asking the question, why am I not healing? The real question is, what do I have to change about myself in order to heal? Now it becomes very practical for the person. So the unlearning process is one of the hard parts because you’ve got to light a match in a dark place, and if you’re conscious, that means you’re no longer unconscious.
15:21 And if you’re conscious and you’re no longer unconscious, you’re no longer on the program. So begin to objectify or object ourselves. So how many times do we have to forget until we stop forgetting and start remembering? That’s the moment of change. How many times we have to go unconscious so we stop going unconscious and start staying conscious?
15:42 That’s the moment of change. And God, we get numerous opportunities in life every day. As one lifetime, and if you just decided before you started your day who you no longer wanted to be in thought, behavior and emotion, just remember that, stay conscious of it, and who you do want to be, and think about the thoughts you do want to think, rehearse how you’re going to behave in your life, with your family, with your kids, at work, on the Zoom call, and think about what emotions do I want to live by as if my future has already happened.
16:15 So the cool thing about that is if you’re feeling the emotions of your future before it happens, you’re no longer looking for it. You’re only looking for it when you’re feeling the other emotions. When you feel those emotions before it happens, somehow those wonderful synchronicities and coincidences and opportunities begin to show up in our lives, and that proves to us we’re the creators of our lives. Does that happen with affirmations and visualizations, or does it require more, like you talk about getting from the 3D space into the quantum space?
16:44 You talk about trying to unpro-, not on program, disconnect your brain from doing those patterns so you can start to see things. So sign up. It is well worth the money.” Yeah, I’m not a big fan of affirmations. I mean, people have affirmations all day long, most of them are unconscious.
18:03 “I can’t learn very well. I’m not a good meditator. I’m unhappy.” That’s their meditation, that’s their affirmation. Or every single day they wake up in the morning and they think about their problems, and their problems are memories from the past that are etched in their brain.
18:17 The brain’s a record of the past. The moment they start thinking about their problems, since they’re memories of the past, they’re thinking in the past. Every one of those emotions has an association with it, emotionally, from the experience. So the moment they feel unhappy, now their body’s in the past, keep doing that over and over again, and the body literally will be unhappy. And you can say, “I’m happy, I’m happy, I’m happy,” all you want with your conscious mind.
18:40 “I’m wealthy, I’m wealthy, and wealthy, I’m abundant, I’m abundant, abundant,” and your body’s saying, “No, you’re not, you’re miserable,” and that thought never makes it past the brain stem to the body. So then visualization, then if the person is visualizing the future that they want but they’re living in fear, the fear is actually not supporting the vision of the future. They don’t believe in that future. So it takes more than that. So then what we discovered was that there’s a formula, a way to teach people based on over 18,000 brain scans.
19:15 We’ve studied over thousands and thousands and thousands of measurements on the heart, on gene expression, on protein regulation, on neurotransmitters, on immune regulation, thousands and thousands and thousands different cellular metabolites, looking to see what is it that truly causes a person to change. And it takes a reboot, and in fact when you stop thinking, when you stop analyzing, when you’re no longer paying attention to your body, you’re no longer aware of your emotions or your habits or your drives, you’re not thinking about the people in your life or your cell phone or your social media or your car, where you need to go or where you’re sitting or where you sleep or where you work, and you’re not preoccupied with time, that, that there’s a wonderful thing that happens in the brain when we become nobody, no one, no thing, nowhere, in the time.
20:13 That’s the moment where we shut the mechanism down of thinking, and by focusing on nothing, on space, there’s a recalibration of the nervous system back to more order, back to more wholeness, back to more oneness. And if you’re going to marry a clear intention with an elevated emotion to create reality, you better have a coherent brain, because that’s the mechanism that sends the signal out. That’s the directive, that’s the intention, that’s the possibility, it’s the creative center, and if you’re going to combine it with an elevated emotion, if you’re going to believe in that future that you’re imagining with all your heart, it better be open.
20:53 You better learn how to activate it, and you got to feel into that heart of yours. And when you do, you begin to change your electromagnetic field. In fact, you have a Wi-Fi signal, and if the thought sends a signal out and the feeling draws the event back to us, if the thought is the electrical charge in the quantum field and the feeling is the magnetic charge, and the heart has a magnetic field, and this is beyond polarity, this is wholeness, this is oneness, is the union of opposites.
21:20 That means that we have to feel the feeling before the experience, not wait for the healing to happen to feel gratitude, or the new relationship to feel love, or the wealth to feel abundance or worthiness, or the mystical moment to feel awe. That would be cause and effect. We want to cause an effect. So then causing an effect in your life then means then you have to lay down the very thing you use your whole life to get what you want for something greater to occur, and that’s a big step for a lot of people.
21:51 What’s the significance of that? Okay, we can all get successful. You can learn certain skills, you can be trained, you can make the right choices, you can learn from your mistakes, you can take more courses, more seminars, you can go at it matter to matter, you know, and this is the plane of doing, great force. Yeah, you can get there, you force the outcome, you control the outcome, can compete for the outcome, you can manipulate the outcome, you can predict the outcome, you can plan for the outcome, do all those things.
22:17 There’s rules in this three-dimensional world and and when the experience happens, then the experience produces the emotion, it takes away the lack of not having what you want. You get the new car, you get the new relationship, you get the better health, you wait for the experience to occur, the experience, then the end product is the emotion, and it feels the lack of separation. But we create that way. You see someone with something you like and you don’t have it, your brain naturally starts thinking about you having it.
22:43 That’s where we’re creative by nature, but in the 3D world you got to wait for the experience to do something to make it happen, and of course doing requires time and energy. So you can get really good at that and you can collect resources and savings and all that stuff and you can do it easier. My interest is another way. I want to shorten the distance between the thought of what we want and the experience of having it, between the cause and the effect, and that’s called time, right?
23:12 So if we’re creating from matter, then there’s a lot of things that we have to do to get what we want. And if we’re living in stress and we’re living in survival, now we feel more like matter and less like energy, and now those hormones drive us in our animal nature to try to get what we want. But sometimes, you know, people cheat, they steal, they lie, they do whatever they can to get what they want. That’s the game. But then if you can create from the field instead of from matter, it’s not matter that’s emitting a field, it’s the field that’s actually creating matter.
23:45 So if you could change the field and change the information in the field, is it possible then you can change the experience in three-dimensional reality? And the closer you get to singularity, to source, to oneness, to wholeness, to absolute, whatever you want to call that, and you’re creating from the field instead of from matter, every thought in the quantum produces a frequency. So the thought of your wealth in the quantum should produce the frequency or the feeling of abundance.
24:15 And if you can experience the feeling of that ahead of the actual event, you’re beginning to change information in the field. Keep doing that, thought objectifies and conditions reality, so you create a thought form, and in time all of a sudden you start having these synchronicities and these outcomes in your life. If you can’t get beyond your body and your attention is on your body, then you’re matter trying to change matter. If you’re thinking about your cell phone and your partner or your kids, or none of these are bad, but if you can’t get beyond them, they own you.
24:48 If you’re thinking about how much time it’s going to take or how much time the meditation is going, you haven’t dissociated from the very world of three-dimensional reality to create something differently with. So that process of overcoming ourselves, that process of overcoming is the process of becoming. As an example, people stand on the stage, you know, and they tell their testimonials, their stories at our events, whether it’s stage four cancer, blindness, deafness, MS, What’s the choice that you’re going to make?
28:06 So many people say, you know, I really believed that this information or that you could actually create a better life for yourself or you could heal yourself, I, I always believed that it was true, and I saw the testimonials of other people, I’ve read the information, I saw the scientific research, I just never believed it could happen to me or that I could do it. Now this is a big moment. This is the moment you come out of the bleachers and you get on the playing field, because in order for that person to prove that they actually, their mind can affect their body, they would have to show up every day and do the work.
28:41 If they don’t show up, then they don’t believe it’s possible. They do show up every day, they do believe it’s possible, and you keep showing up every day, after a period of time you start feeling worthy to receive it, and the universe only gives us what we think we’re worthy of receiving. So it’s the overcoming process that is the becoming process. People who are sick in this work, I can guarantee you with stage four cancer that has metastasized to every organ, every tissue, every bone in their body, and they’ve gotten the diagnosis and the prognosis, I’m sure there were days where they felt fear and they had to make one of two choices, to either do the work or surrender to fear.
29:28 And they showed up that day and they overcame their fear a little bit more and surrendered to love. That’s a victory. There were days where I’m certain they didn’t feel good, they didn’t feel physically good, and I know that it was probably hard for them to think greater than how they felt. They couldn’t do that if they were still their body. They would have to get beyond their body in order to change, and they showed up that day and they overcame their body a little bit more.
29:57 And I’m sure there were days where they had self-doubt. In fact, many of them, their disease got worse before it got better, and they could have easily listened to their family and to the voice in their head that said, “It’s not working.” But they showed up anyway and they did the work and they overcame their doubt that day. And I know there were days where they thought they didn’t have enough time because they had children and work and all kinds of obligations, but they made time.
30:29 It was the overcoming, the overcoming, the overcoming that actually created the becoming. And so they weren’t visualizing anything, they weren’t affirming anything, they were changing. Now many of them would have a great meditation, get up feeling wonderful, feeling like connected to the emotions of their future, and their sleeping patterns got better, they’ve had more energy, their pain diminished, but their blood values and their scans were still the same.
31:05 They didn’t say, “Oh well, I kind of got a little bit better, that this doesn’t work.” That would be the old self returning back to the old personality. They were more concerned about what they still had to change about themselves in order for their health to change. So they realized that many of them, one hour of meditation and feeling wonderful and then spending 15 hours of your remaining day reacting and responding to everyone and everything in your life and believing those thoughts that are just hard-wired programs in the brain and acting and behaving like the old self, genes aren’t going to change that way.
31:44 So all of a sudden now it became practical. I got to get so good at doing this with my eyes closed, I got to do with my eyes open. Now this is the big game because you’ve got to be able to self-regulate. And so what became very practical to them is, now I’m going to rehearse how I’m going to be on the Zoom call. Now I’m going to rehearse how I’m going to be with my children, how I’m going to be with my ex.
32:11 I’m going to monitor my responses, has got to be a better way to be. Now, now the game becomes very real, right? And then they review at the end of the day, when did I fall from grace? When did I lose it? When did I, when did I go unconscious?
32:25 Tomorrow’s another lifetime tomorrow night. I didn’t fail, I just went unconscious. Okay, tomorrow I gotta, I’m gonna just work on that one thing. So now they’re, now they’re really working on the process of transformation. It’s no longer about their, it’s no longer about their health condition.
32:42 They’re not focused on their healthcare, they’re focused on change. Right, and nothing changes in our life until we change. So when you hear those stories and the person has to really overcome their belief that this could work for everybody else, “I just never believed that could work for me,” when they get really super aware that the game is about change and they got to get really good at doing it with their eyes open, and they have to monitor their responses to everyone and everything in their life, because if they don’t, their response is actually weakening the organism.
33:14 They got to catch their thoughts, because that thought that they let slip by could actually knock their brain and body out of homeostasis and turn on the stress response. So now the game changes now, and it takes an enormous amount of energy and it takes an enormous amount of awareness, and it’s not easy, and if it was easy everybody would be doing it. But you asked that person who stands on the stage, that’s the four-minute mile, about their disease, they’ll tell you two things.
33:46 My disease was my greatest teacher. They’ll tell you that. And you’ll ask them, where does the, where’s the disease now? Where is it? They’ll say, “It’s in the old person.
33:56 I’m somebody else.” They didn’t visualize anything, they didn’t affirm anything, they just kept practicing overcoming, and it’s the overcoming process that actually affects the becoming process. Okay. And it all starts with the meditation, the closed-eye meditation, but then, as you said, that’s not enough, then that has to permeate into your open-eye meditation, which is the rest of your consciousness. Well, that’s why, that’s why I created the, um, the walking meditations.
34:28 In your, in your seven days you come to a week-long, you come to a week-long event. I mean, there’s a study done by a Harvard scientist that took a group of men in their 70s and 80s to a monastery north of Harvard. These guys are 70 plus and 80 years old, and she asked these men for five days to pretend that they were 22 years younger, and not to reminisce about being 22 years younger but actually thinking that way, acting that way and feeling that way. And she put pictures of the Kennedy brothers and Marilyn Monroe and Nat King Cole and the Cuban Missile Crisis and magazines and reminded them of being 22 years younger.
35:15 At the beginning of the study she measured all kinds of different objective things. They measured their height, their weight, their eyesight, their hearing, their cognition, their finger lengths, their toe lengths, their range of motion, all these objective measurements, and they cut them loose for five days. The researcher said at the end of five days she was playing touch football with these men without their canes. She brought them back into the lab and she took all those objective measurements again.
35:47 Finger lengths were longer, toe lengths were longer, that means arthritis was better, some of them were taller, some of them weighed less, majority of them could see better, could hear better, their cognition improved by 60 percent, their range of motion changed. So the question is, who are you pretending to be or who you’re pretending not to be? Those, those men couldn’t say, “Finger lengths get longer, toe lengths get longer, brain work better.” They had to become that person.
36:16 So I thought, okay, what if we took a group of people for seven days instead of five days and let’s do the same measurements? We do all kinds of measurements, immerse them in an environment where knowledge and information could be applied, personalized and demonstrated, initiated in some way, set up the conditions in the environment, but don’t just let them learn the information, they’ve got to be able to learn it so well that they could actually teach it to someone. So they have no doubt, nothing’s left to conjecture, to superstition, to dogma.
36:48 They know exactly what they’re doing and why they’re doing it. Set up the conditions in the environment, give them the right instruction and have them practice. Now if you’re in the monastery for seven days, you can’t just do the meditations, then finish the meditation, get on the line for lunch and cut someone off or be mean or start complaining and blame. You just, that’s not the part of the monastery. So in my personal life I would have great meditations and then I’d be, I just realized I just returned back, and so I said, well, we got to practice walking with our eyes open.
37:21 So we do these walking meditations, not for any other reasons, you gotta go start practicing with your eyes open like you do with your eyes closed. So let’s start, let’s get, let’s get our change our energy, let’s get in our heart once energy makes it to the heart. We have so many, so much data that says the heart’s going to form the brain, that it’s time to create, it’s safe to create. So then let’s get relaxed in our heart and awaken our brain, let’s change our energy, let’s remember this feeling.
37:45 Now let’s open our eyes and let’s, let’s walk as this person else, practice just like an actor would practice, let’s, let’s get in that state, let’s feel the feelings, embody the energy, the emotion of our future. How would you walk if you were healthy? How would you stand? How would you move? How would you breathe?
37:59 What would be the posture when you felt unlimited instead of when you felt beaten up, unworthy and depressed? A whole different physiology and mechanism that takes place. Keep practicing something, whatever you practice you become. You practice suffering, you’ll get really good at it. You practice feeling grateful, you’ll get really good at that, so good at it that you’ll believe, behave and ultimately become it.
38:24 So then the walking meditations are a great way for people to practice with their eyes open, moving into the state, and so that we can maintain this modified state of mind and body and starts becoming habituated, it starts becoming who we are. What does that look like at your event? Is everyone walking around? You have to, you have to see this. It’s this is, they’re silent, they’re silent, but they’re embodying everything.
38:45 It makes it harder when you’re walking, because now your eyes are open, you’re walking. It’s one thing to do it when you’re sitting down and do all the videos, but now you’re walking, you have to take your concentration to another level. forever. So, so, so we, we, so we, they go through four, three or three days of solids training and seated meditations, and then we say to them exactly what you’ve been doing, seating the first five minutes, 15 minutes of meditation, you’re just go out and do the exact same thing standing.
42:35 So you’re going to evolve the experience. Okay, I have three days doing this, I’ll start off standing, they start off standing, then we teach them about trans, how to open your awareness and trans, you’ll change your brain waves. When you change your brain waves you’re more suggestible to information because you suppress your analytical mind, right? So they broaden their focus, they open their eyes, there’s 1500 people on a beach, there’s 2,000 people walking along a river, we’re on a golf course, we’re in a park, we have had, we’ve been on the news, we’ve been on the radio, we’ve been on YouTube, uh, we’ve had police come, we’ve been called, um, uh, uh, mob art.
43:22 We, we, we were in Brighton a couple years ago and we were doing a walking meditation at six in the morning in the dark on the beach in Brighton. I was in the winter, nobody’s there, and the police came and, you know, here’s 57 or 1700 people at that event, there’s 1700 people standing still in the dark on the beach and this police officer comes running over, and I said to my staff, go talk to him, and this is a police officer, and I, and she came back laughing, and I said, what did he say? He said he thought there was some cataclysmic event that happened and the zombies were out walking.
44:03 And I started laughing and I said, “Go over, back over there and ask him why he thinks we’re zombies,” and he said, because nobody would look at him, or nobody’s looking at anybody, right? They’re so focused, they’re working on that state, they’re, not all of their attention is on their outer world like most of us do. There’s a lot of tension, attention on their outer world, but there’s also a lot of attention on their inner world. They’re practicing regulating with their eyes open, so you’re not really looking around and seeing, “Oh, that’s Jeffrey,” and, “Oh, that’s Sonia over there,” and, “Oh, there’s the pier,” and, “Oh, there’s the whatever.”
44:39 That’s not those things, we’re suppressing that part of the brain. So how many times in our lives have we let someone or something stand in the way between us and our dreams, right? So you see a thousand people, fifteen hundred people, two thousand people on a beach. You know, honeymooners come down in Mexico, you know, they’re gonna be the only one on the beach, and they walk on the beach and they’re like, “Oh my God, what is going on here?” And it’s the most beautiful thing to see, every sentient being starting the day at sunrise walking as their future self, embodying the unlimited, embodying the empowerment of their future, actually bringing up that feeling without the event doing it, so much so that they no longer rely on anyone or anything outside of them for that feeling.
45:28 They can do it on their own. Now this is where they start really getting free because they realize it wasn’t, they don’t need anyone, they don’t need anything to bring them joy, they could actually do that by themselves. And I always say to them, who’s making you happy, by the way? Who’s making you happy? It’s just them.
45:46 So one week of doing that, when we do the measurements, just like those men that went to the monastery north of Harvard that had all these types of changes, we did the same studies. We measured 2,882 different metabolites that cells release to determine if the cell is in a state of growth and repair or in a state of tissue breakdown. I can tell you with such certainty that if you come to a week-long event and you are a novice meditator, whether you’re prepared or not for the week, if you go all in for seven days and immerse yourself just like those men in the monastery and to pretend to be unlimited, to walk as if you’re healed, to walk as if you’re worthy to receive, to walk as the healer, whatever it is, as the abundant person, at the end of seven days your biology will suggest that you’re living in a completely different life, that you’re in a completely different environment.
46:48 Now here’s the funny part about it. The majority of the time that people are in a ballroom, what’s so amazing about the environment of a ballroom? There’s nothing going on in a ballroom. Where’s all those changes coming from? And then I say to the scientists and tell me, where are those chemicals coming from?
47:08 Where are they coming from? The person’s not taking any exogenous substance, they’re not taking any vitamin, they’re not taking any drug. Where are all these chemicals coming from? The nervous system just happens to be the most elegant and sophisticated pharmacy that has ever created, ever created, and all of those chemicals are being manufactured telling the body that it’s in a favorable environment. So if the person is living in an elevated emotion and they have a clear intention, the stronger the emotion they feel, the more they’ll pay attention to the vision of the future, and they’re remembering their future, and biologically it looks the same as remembering your past.
47:45 Keep doing that, you’re no longer looking for your future because you feel like it’s already happened. You only look for it when you feel the emotions of your past. So then get good at practicing that on a regular basis, repeat it enough times. Why are we doing it? To measure the effects.
48:05 Where’s the synchronicity, where is the coincidence, where is the opportunity, the, where’s the unexpected, where’s the unknown? That’s when it gets exciting, because once you have that synchronicity, once you have that opportunity, you’re going to start believing that you’re the creator of your life instead of the victim of your life. What do I mean by victim of your life? You say to someone, why are you unhappy? What’s, why are you sad?
48:26 “I’m happy,” and, “I’m sad because of this person or the circumstance.” What they’re really saying is that person or that circumstance is actually controlling the way I feel and the way I think. The only thing that’s controlling the way I feel and the way I think means I’m a victim to that. And when things go good we feel good, when things go bad we feel bad. But, well, we’re we’re not a cause in any way.
48:50 So then the stronger the emotion we feel to some person or problem, the more we pay attention to them, and where we place our attention is where we place our energy, and so we’re giving our power away to change to that person or that circumstance. Take the person, bring them into an event, and I want them to come up against their impatience, I want them to come up against their entitlement, I want them to come up against their frustration, I want them, because that’s been, that’s what’s been standing in the way between them and their dream all along. That’s where they give up on themselves, they say, “Oh, I can’t meditate.”
49:22 But the whole tribe, no one’s moving, and I want to know if you’re curious, curious enough to know what’s on the other side of that pain. What’s on the other side, if I can, what’s on the other side of what’s wrong with me, what’s on the other side, I can’t do this, what’s on the other side of that, where you want to get up and quit, sit through that and see what’s on the other side of it. You do that, you stretch a person past that point, you teach them how to lower the volume to that emotion, settle the body back down, catch the thought, stop the stimulus and response, inhibit it.
49:55 Sooner or later the body, which has been conditioned to be the mind, is no longer the mind. It’s like training an animal, right? It finally surrenders, and when it does there is a tremendous liberation of energy, and now there’s energy to heal. And the body’s pushing back because it doesn’t know where you’re going, so it’s trying to trip you up because you’re trying to take it to a new destination. No, you’re taking it to the unknown, and it’s so comfortable, it’s so comfortable being unhappy, it’s so happy being unhappy, it would rather cling to the known than take a chance in possibility.
50:24 And when the person finally understands that that’s what it is, I don’t care how old you are, I don’t care how young you are, I don’t care the color of your skin, I don’t care what you eat or don’t eat, I don’t care how sick you are, I don’t care how in shape, out of shape, I don’t care if you’ve never even meditated before. People who have never meditated before, some have the best results because they just say, “Tell me what to do, I’ll do exactly what you tell me to do.” I don’t care about any of those things.
50:52 Now if you do that enough times, you’re dragging the brain and body out of the past, and that’s what the present moment does. That the body’s clinging to the familiar, so you take it outside the known into the unknown, you make a new choice, and the body goes, “Hey, you’ve been suffering for 35 years, what, do you just give this up right now?” The body is the mind, so the body starts influencing the brain, and the mind says, “Come on, quit. You know it’s your mother’s fault, you know your parents got divorced when you were young, you know you probably didn’t eat the right food yesterday, I need a brain scan, something’s wrong with me, it’s my ex’s fault, my kids are driving.”
51:29 Think that thought, you’re going to make that same choice to quit, do the same thing, recreate the same experience, feel the same emotion. People say, “This feels right.” No, that’s familiar. We’re addicted to that familiar pattern even though it’s not, it’s not, it doesn’t help us, it’s conditioned, it’s conditioned. So then stepping out into the unknown, if you’re living by the hormones of stress and survival, which most people are, the unknown is a dangerous place.
51:54 You hang out in the unknown, you could be prey, so it’s better to cling to the known than to take a chance in possibility. But if you teach people, and this is the cool part, you stretch them, I’ve done this, I’ve seen this thousands of times, just where they think that’s it for them, does that, okay, I’m good, if you stretch them a little bit further than them, they stay with you, you stretch them out of the known into the unknown, that’s when the brain changes the most. Just when you wanted to give up, you go one more time, that’s the moment the brain changes.
52:24 And when they go out into the unknown and they realize nothing dangerous happened, nothing scary happened to them, they live through it, they relax more in the present moment and they get happier with themselves, and self-love is born when we overcome the old self. And so that’s what you’re pushing people to do in those first three days, I guess. A lot of it is people just getting uncomfortable, putting up some physical barriers to you drawing them down into this deeper meditation.
52:51 Of course, of course, and look, some people start going and they go, “Where’s my pain? There it is. Oh, what time is it? Where’s my cell phone?” That’s, it’s all habituation.
52:59 And then we keep reminding them that there’s something on the other side, there’s a future you that already exists that’s more loving, it’s more kind, it’s more mystical, that’s more present, it’s more abundant, that’s more giving, that’s more in love. with life, and it’s you, you just got to become that person. Seven days, just stop doing that and start doing this, and if you think differently and you make different choices and you do different things and you create new experiences and you feel new emotions, your biology is going to change, and I can say that with absolute certainty.
53:34 Now it’s no longer pseudoscience, it’s a fact. So then one person stands on the stage, that’s the four minute mile, and breaks through, and there’s no evidence of metastatic carcinoma in her bones. Not once, not twice, not three times, not for him, over and over again people stand on the stage, there’s no evidence of metastasis to their lungs, to their kidneys, to their liver, to their colon, there’s no longer any tumors in their spine and their pelvis, completely reversed, and no chemo, no radiation, no surgery, no diet, no exercise, no matter, the matter changed it, until they realized nothing’s going to change in my life until I change.
54:17 And when you, I listen, I’m a pretty open-minded person, my mind has been blown so many times in the last two years, I’m, I’m changing just by watching what’s happening in our community. Someone invariably in the audience is looking at that person and saying, God, she doesn’t look gluten-free, she doesn’t look like a vegan, she doesn’t look very young, she doesn’t look particularly, you know, slim or fit, but the disease is gone. If she can do it, I can do it.
54:50 And now the consciousness of the collective begins to change because now you’re aware of that possibility. Once you’re aware of that possibility, you become aware of what was once unknown to you, now it’s known to you, and people only make the choices or do the best with what they know is available. Now there’s another option, it’s not philosophical any longer, someone else has done it. And invariably someone in the audience with the same health condition relates with that person, and the story is not glamorous, the story is not linear, they lose things, they get sick, the doctor tells them.
55:29 You listen to the story and you see this uncompromising of mind and body with this person. They’re, they’re telling the truth. I say they’re speaking the truth. You look out in the audience, I’m looking out at everybody’s faces while this person is talking, everybody is leaning in, there’s truth right there, they’re, they’re listening to it. We show the scans, we show the PET scan, there’s no longer any metastatic cancer in bones.
56:02 I mean, you’re a physician, you, once you see cancer in bones, you don’t, no, never, hardly ever reverses. This is completely gone, over and over again. So that pulls the rest of the audience in. Well, if you’re facing a health condition and nothing else is working, you see someone else heal themselves, I guarantee your next meditation will be different, your belief in what’s possible will be very different. So we have such great evidence in our scientific studies, we’re making scientific history every time we do an event, we have such great testimony.
56:38 Every event we had two people in Cancun in our last event came blind, both of them are seeing at the end of it. I was more surprised than anybody. That testimony, you couldn’t make the story up. The lady was so genuine, so real, when she saw her face for the first time in the mirror, I mean, she was upset because she thought she was a brunette and her husband was dyeing her hair blonde for the last couple years, and she saw her hair and she was like, “It’s blonde.”
57:09 She got mad, but it was funny because you can’t make that up, you can’t make that up. So we have great evidence and testimony. Evidence is the loudest voice right now. This is what people want, they want the information that shows them that they are greater than they think, more powerful than they know, more unlimited than they could ever dream, and I think we innately know that, but we just get programmed out of that belief. Yeah.
57:35 Does someone have to want this bad enough to either show up at one of your workshops or to get through those first few days? I mean, because sometimes you can’t say to someone, look at this future version of yourself, look how amazing it is, you know, the, like you said, the body’s almost conditioned to just say, “No thanks, let me pass.” Um, or what does it take to get someone who maybe is listening now and thinking, yeah, yeah, I know that’s true, but I’m going back to my phone, I’m going back to that?
57:59 That’s fine. When you’re ready, yeah, you’re, when you’re ready, you’re ready. I mean, you can rely on all the things outside of you, you can become dependent on all those things, there’s nothing wrong with that. There’s nothing wrong with taking antidepressants, and there’s nothing wrong with taking a drug that keeps you chemically imbalanced in order, there’s nothing wrong with that, I think it’s fine, but when you truly really want to be free of all of that, when you’re ready for that.
58:26 We’ve had thousands of people that have never come to a week-long event, never did a course online, read the books, study the books, look at the YouTube stuff, review it, repeat it, study it and practice on their own. We had a lady on the stage just two months ago when we were in Panama, five different health conditions, go scheduled for a liver transplant, one of them of course cancer. 12 weeks, 12 weeks, never missed a day, never came to an event, she just did it on her own.
59:04 She said, “I knew the moment I was healed.” I went back to my doctor, my scans were negative, they still wanted to give me the chemotherapy. Time to change doctors. She never came to an event, she just immersed herself in it. She studied the content, she had meaning behind the act, she wanted to get better at it, she put all her heart into it.
59:27 Some people, they come to a week-long event and they’re resistant, they’re resistant because they have some type of emotional addictions and they’re in fear, they’re desperate, uh, they’re afraid, all kinds of things can happen. They may need to be in a community of people where content is alive. I don’t like doing online courses at all, I don’t want to compete with anybody’s attention. You can’t, it’s so much easier to forget this information than to remember it, it’s so much easier.
1:00:02 So you’ve got to immerse yourself into it, and in learning is making new synaptic connections. You put an hour worth of time and concentration to a new concept, you can double the number of connections in your brain, but if you don’t review it, if you don’t repeat it, if you don’t think about it, those circuits will prune apart within hours. So we know then, let’s deliver the content, let’s deliver the information, make sure people are present with it, make it simple, make it easy, then once that information is in their brain, then teach it back, be able to explain.
1:00:34 If you can’t explain, it’s not wired in your brain. If you can’t explain it, you’re installing the neurological hardware in preparation for the experience, and the more you understand what you’re doing and why you’re doing it, the how gets easier. So now it’s philosophical, it’s theoretical, right? But now rubber hits the road, now you gotta, you gotta take it out for a test drive. Why?
1:00:57 Because when you apply it, you personalize it, you demonstrate it, you initiate it, you do something differently, you should have a new experience. Experience then enriches those philosophical circuits in your brain, that’s what experience does, it enriches circuitry. When those circuits string into place, the brain makes a chemical, and that chemical is called the feeling. When you feel unlimited, when you feel empowered, when you feel abundant, when you feel worthy, now you’re teaching your body chemically to understand what your mind has intellectually understood.
1:01:26 So now you’re embodying the truth of that philosophy, it’s not just in the mind, it’s in the body. The mind is now in the body, right? And so then you’re experiencing the truth of that, that’s new information from the experience. The emotion is the chemical signature, you start selecting and instructing new genes because that’s information. If you’ve done it once, though, this is where it gets exciting.
1:01:49 You have that one moment where you did your meditation, right? I’m going to put you right back in there again and you’re going to evolve that experience, let’s see if you can reproduce the experience, and if you can reproduce the experience, any experience, you’re going to neurochemically condition the mind and body to begin to work as one. I mean, do it enough times that the body can do it better than your mind. Now it’s innate in you, you’ve mastered that knowledge, you’ve become that knowledge, you’re in a new state of being.
1:02:14 So people who do this work, I mean, it’s fascinating. Now it’s fascinating. I could say to people in this work, would you mind going into high gamma for the scientists? I mean, that’s a pretty aroused brainwave state, it’s not normal, and the scientists are blown away and they ask this one woman, how do you do that? And she said, “It’s really hard not to.”
1:02:37 I mean, she just knows that she knows. And so now people by practicing can overcome themselves, can change their brain waves in four seconds and five seconds and nine seconds and 30, 37, they just know how to do it, right? And when you know that you know, then all of a sudden it’s not like, I have to meditate today. What I love about our community is not because they think that they have to meditate, they do it because they don’t want the magic to end, they don’t want it to end.
1:03:04 And some people with certain diseases, they’ll do it three times in one day because their doubt will come back, they’re not going to succumb to that. They’re going to go again and they’re going to change that, and then if it comes up again they’re going to go again. Why? Because that’s the only thing that’s going to work for them, nothing else has worked. Wow.
1:03:23 You start believing in yourself, you believe in possibility. If you’re going to believe in possibility, you better believe in yourself. and the only way you know that, is to prove to yourself that it’s possible, is to be able to reproduce the experience, and that takes practice. So we have a spectrum of community that they practice at home, they’ve healed themselves. We, at the end of seven days, it’s not uncommon, it happens all the time, people stand on the stage and tell their story of that they’re out of their wheelchair, they’re stan-, they walk up to the stage without their wheelchair.
1:04:00 I don’t know about you, but I can’t go back to business as usual in my life after that. So giving people numerous opportunities to overcome themselves and numerous opportunities to connect that invisible field whose signature is oneness, is wholeness, is pure love, is then given numerous opportunities, remember who they are and where they came from. When we came from pure love and when you feel so whole and your nervous system is back into autonomic regulation instead of autonomic dysregulation, stress, you tend to want less, you tend, like you feel like you already have everything, and I think that is the natural state of being.
1:04:42 So we came across over a period of time where we started seeing these really profound changes in real time. You know, we measure people’s brains in real time during the event, and the amount of energy, the amount of coherence that was in their brains was so outside of normal. I’m talking hundreds and hundreds of standard deviations outside of normal. Three standard deviations outside of normal, no matter what you measure, is two percent of the population that’s really good at.
1:05:13 Another 197, or 297, or 397 of those measurements, past that point this is a tremendous amount of energy in the brain. You talk to those people, I talked to many of them, what happened? Their stories are so profound. The information that their brain is processing is not coming from the environment, it’s coming from a vision within them, a transcendental moment they’re having, an arousal, and that arousal is not pain, arousal is not fear, arousal is not aggression, the arousal is ecstasy.
1:05:54 They’re touching the divine, their consciousness is dipping into that greater frequency that’s within us and all around us, and when they come back to their senses they are a different person. It becomes them and they become it. They’re more kind, they’re more loving, they’re more caring, they’re more giving, they’re more willful, they’re more conscious. Somehow their interaction with energy or frequency or information somehow gives them an upgrade, and there’s the eczema and then it’s gone, there’s the blindness, and for some reason now their interaction with wholeness has created a biological upgrade in their body.
1:06:34 And it’s those are the moments where they have actually connected, and that’s when you shorten the distance between the thought and the experience and the person. So funny, you get them on the stage to tell the story and what they talk mostly about is the feeling. They’ll just say, “I feel so brand new, I feel so whole, I feel so in love with life, I feel so grateful for so many things,” and I’ll say, “Would you just tell them?” “Oh yeah, and I was blind since I was three months old and now I can see.”
1:07:09 Like the experience and the emotion was so much more profoundly memorable and the upgrade that takes place in the writing. “Oh yeah, oh yeah, well now that that happened too.” So so, so I think the information that we’re gathering through our scientific measurements is helping us to teach transformation a whole lot better, and I can say certain things now with such conviction and such certainty because I’ve seen the data, and I keep telling the scientists, I can’t believe this is the truth.
1:07:40 And our scientists were pretty skeptical people, these are published, well-published scientists shaking their head going, “Wow, we are, this is unbelievable.” Drug study is like 18 to 25 percent cause and effect, causality, right? Our studies are 75 cause and effect. That’s, it’s unheard of. So you see the data, you show the data to scientists in others, you know, in other universities, and they shake their head, they just cannot believe, uh, what they see.
1:08:12 So when we draw the blood of those people who hit those high coherent gamma brainwave states, we draw their blood, there’s so much information in that blood that brings the body back to wholeness and back to health, and we’re discovering, well, there’s a whole plethora of these wonderful chemicals. Do you think most people have experienced these states you know at some points in their life, it’s just they know, never know how they can recreate them and bring them back? I mean, I think most people have had an experience like that, of course.
1:08:47 They felt like they’re in the flow or they’re connected to the divine, but it’s brief and maybe they chalk it up to an XYZ, maybe they forget it. of the future. Right, so they’re sitting on the park bench or whatever and they have this profound moment of connection, or they just get done skiing for eight hours and they fall asleep in the back of the car and the next thing you know they’re something other than themselves. I think, I think that these random things that happened to us, I think we associate with maybe it was skiing or maybe it was whatever, but my interest is demystify that process.
1:12:09 And now we’re getting really close, like I can, we can look at certain brain scans and we can look at certain measurements, like, well, in the heart also. I could say to the scientist who’s observing this scan at the same time, I can say this person is going to have a big moment in a matter of seconds because they move to this particular brainwave state where they’re outside of normal and theta, right? And theta is when your body’s asleep and your mind is awake, you’re half awake and you’re half asleep, and turns out that’s magic land.
1:12:42 It turns out theta is a hypnotic state, and when you’re in a hypnotic state you’re suggestible to information, and suggestibility is your ability to accept, believe and surrender to information without analyzing it, and that’s exactly what programs the autonomic nervous system into an outcome. All right, so the person moves outside of normal and theta, coherent theta, we’re measuring this on them, they’re in a hypnotic state, hypnotists could say to them anything and program them, but their eyes are closed, there’s music playing in the background, they forget they’re in the room, they’re not eating, they’re tasting or smelling or experiencing and feeling, they’re sitting still. There’s only one other place information can come from, and that’s frequency, and all frequency carries information.
1:13:28 So as they dial down the neocortex and they move into theta, they shut out the mechanism or shut off the mechanism that is connected to the autobiographical self, you know, the story. Lights are out in the neocortex, but they’re still awake, they’re suggestible to information, but they’re not getting information through their senses. There’s coherence in their brain because they’re practicing that. When the brain gets coherent it can read coherent information.
1:13:52 The more coherent the, in the frequency, the more coherent the information. So the brain acts like a receiver, latent systems in the brain switch on, and then there they go right into gamma, they go into that altered state. We can, we can induce it, we can replicate it, we can predict it, and we see a very similar brainwave pattern. Okay. Then we all started to notice that if a person can really, really start practicing putting their attention in their heart and really start working with these elevated emotions, we created the technology, we created the, the program to be able to see, okay, let’s see when a person puts their attention on their heart, if where they place their attention is where they place their energy, let’s see if they put their attention on their heart, if it changes the energy of the heart.
1:14:36 And there’s a frequency band for the heart, that’s a low frequency band, very low frequency band, that’s the energy that’s only indigenous to the heart. Okay, here’s somebody playing with their two-year-old running around outside on the break in the event, and another staff member who’s running around doing a thousand things, a little bit out of balance, a little stressed. We sit them down and we ask them, okay, let’s see if we can do this. They’re advanced meditators, they get in their heart, I ask them, put their attention on their heart, I’m talking to them, and all of a sudden you can see this column looks like someone’s filling up a gas tank.
1:15:08 You see this very low frequencies start to go up as they put their attention on their heart. Okay, here it comes up and then all of a sudden you see the parasympathetic nervous system come up, which is the nervous system of relaxation, it’s the clutch, it’s the brake, sympathetic nervous system goes down. Okay, I thought that was the end. The person’s hooked up to a brain scan, all of a sudden we see the parasympathetic nervous system drop down and all of a sudden we see the sympathetic nervous system go up, and now the person is relaxed in their heart and awaken their brain, and the energy from the body is being driven to the brain, and that arousal that’s creating is causing this kind of resonance.
1:15:48 We see that some people are in delta brainwave, really slow frequency, but most of them in theta, and theta starts resonating the alpha, and alpha starts resonating the beta, and beta goes to high beta, and high beta goes right into gamma, and the person is literally relaxed in their heart and awaken their brain, and they are, gamma is awake, it’s consciousness, super consciousness, and instead of being stressed out in a program, which is what most people do, they’re completely in the present moment, so much so that they don’t want the moment to end. That’s one long moment for them. So we’re kind of discovering all these things and being able to teach it a few different ways for have for a moment where a person really actually can have a transcendental experience of themselves, and I think the experience, then the n-word experience, since experience enriches circuitry, when we come back to our senses I think we can perceive a broader spectrum of reality, because we don’t see things how they are, we see things how we are.
1:16:55 So the inward mystical experience lays down new circuitry in the brain for us to perceive more of reality. The feeling that comes from that experience, the arousal, is not chemical, it’s electric, it’s energy, and the stronger the arousal, the more they remember the image. And so now the body literally is being drawn out of the past into the present moment, and they don’t want that moment to end, and when they’re moving to the present moment, there goes a lot of the health conditions because the body’s no longer reliving the event emotionally and believing it’s living in the same environment, and we’re no longer signaling the same gene in the same way.
1:17:34 Why? Because the environment signals the genes. So the past is literally washed away for a lot of people. And so by demystifying the process, by doing our measurements, I think we’re able to not only induce it and predict it but be able to replicate it, and I think that gets to be really exciting because I think we can teach it better. And you’re already seeing, I mean, you’ve been coming, talking to me for four or five years now, and it’s like every time you come here there’s like more evidence, you’re more confident.
1:18:03 This is like now it’s just a matter of time before this happens on a mat, on a big scale with what you’re doing. Yeah, I mean, it’s super exciting, it’s as I say, I, I mean there’s nothing else in my world that I would rather be doing than looking, as we did the largest microbiome study in the history of the world. You know, we’ve measured 800 people’s microbiome, and what makes it so unique is that we have the perfect environment. I mean, you do a scientific study just to get compliance for the participants in the study, at triple blind placebo study, sometimes it takes a year to two years just to vet out the people that are going to be in the study, then the study’s usually five years and you got to write the paper.
1:18:47 We have a perfect environment. We got 1500 people, 2,000, well, London here, 2500 people, they’re eating the same food, they’re doing the same thing, they’re waking up at the same time, there’s a lot of, there’s a consistent environment, and then our community is like, “You want to draw blood? Draw blood. You want to map me? I’d love to be math.
1:19:04 Do you need this sample? You want to scrape me here? Whatever.” And I met with the researcher for the microbiome study and first thing she said to me is, the preliminary data is mind-blowing, you know, mind-blowing. I mean, the blood that we draw from those people that reach those elegant moments, if we put their blood, their plasma, in the presence of a uterine cancer cell, it shuts the lights out on the mitochondria by 70 percent.
1:19:34 Mitochondria is the energy packet of the cell. It just, so it tends to correlate with the microbiome study that the particular microbiomes that are elevated in cancer tend to go down, the particular microbiome that causes a resistance to cancer treatment or cancer, and proving that when this one is elevated, we we know that the cancer treatment or whatever isn’t going to respond. We see that microbiome significantly suppressed, it’s kind of following the testimony that we’re getting with a lot of people.
1:20:07 So there’s this strong correlation that’s going on. So we’re doing our best to measure all kinds of different things, and now our new study that we’re doing in the end of August, we’re curious to see if we take advanced meditators, not novice meditators, advanced meditators, and do the same thing, give them a new model, stretch them past the point where they normally stop, give them numerous opportunities to experience it, do pre and post measurements and see if we can replicate the same changes in advanced meditators that we’re getting in novice meditators, because at the end of seven days with novice meditators they look like advanced meditators. So what’s the, how do we advance meditators to that next level?
1:20:47 Can we reproduce the same model, stretch them a little bit further and see if we can produce those same biological changes? You know, we’re curious. Do you think the world is more stressed out over the past two years with war and sickness and inflation and all these things coming at us? I mean, do you feel when you go to your events or do you see that there’s a bigger need for this work, or is this the way humans always are? Do we always have something that’s pulling us down?
1:21:21 You know, I think that this is a really interesting time in history. I mean, never in my life, and I’ve been on the planet here for a good amount of time, never in my life have I witnessed anything like we’re witnessing currently. You know, there’s so many things that no matter, first of all, no matter where I am or who I talk to, whatever their belief is, the most common theme is something doesn’t feel right. Something just doesn’t feel right to the majority of people.
1:21:49 They can’t put their finger on it, but if you look at technology, you look at all the different things, like we’re losing some control in the way that we live our lives, and so much information is telling us how to think. You know, I mean, I never want to tell people what to think, I want to give them information to cause them to think. So it’s a kind of a wild time because whether it’s the economy, whether it’s politics, whether it’s religion, whether it’s the environment, whether it’s medicine, whether it’s journalism, whether it’s education, a lot of these systems are beginning to implode because they can’t sustain themselves currently, and I think that the big challenge is to not react the same level of consciousness as the consciousness that has created it.
1:22:44 So collective networks of observers determine reality, and it’s not the number of people, it’s not the amount of energy, we’re studying this, it’s the most coherent signal that begins to affect reality. So community is the future. I don’t believe that any government, any religion, no offense, any health care plan is really going to take care of people at this point. We’ve got to learn how to take care of each other, and that’s a whole new model. That model of cooperation is what allows a species to thrive in it.
1:23:23 And then this time in history, this is such an essential time to show people what courage looks like, to show people what compassion and love look like, to show people, demonstrate it, live the prayer, be the example. I mean, so that when you show up and someone says, “You’re different, something’s different about you,” you’re not, you’re not giving them any smack, you’re not giving them any philosophy, you’re demonstrating who you are to the world so that you can say to others, this is the behavior that I’m demonstrating, you can model that behavior because of mirror neurons. So while things are beginning to collapse, if we get angry, we get fearful, we get segregated, we get, you know, stress creates a division in community, you know, everybody gets selfish, you can fracture, you can fracture community in that way.
1:24:18 I think if community is the asset, and to me community is the biggest asset for me, our community is a very strong community, a community that’s aware of other possibilities won’t make the, won’t make the same choice. A community that has overcome their emotions that are built in survival, you won’t, you won’t capture their attention and program them as quickly. A community of collective networks that have an intention to produce outcomes, we’ve done the study.
1:24:48 We took random event generators. You know, random event generators are sophisticated coin toss. The more you toss a coin, the more probability you’re at 50 heads and 50 tails. If you have a machine that’s programmed that tosses that coin a thousand times in one second, you can gather a lot of data, and there’s a curve that, you know, that shows how usually it works out to be 50-50. When we get a collective network of people together at an advanced week-long retreat, the last three days, if we’re working on healing in other people and we do heal people, random events become less random and more intentional.
1:25:32 Now you got to think about this because a lot of times people, I wonder if people really get it, this is a machine, a mechanism that is programmed in its hardware and software to do a certain thing 50 percent of the time one way or the other. When a collective network of people come together with brain and heart coherence, all of a sudden you see that go right outside normal, right? Random events are no longer random, they’re intentional. Now somehow people are changing outcomes by changing the field.
1:26:04 Now if you don’t know that that’s possible, you’ll never use it. All right, so we said, okay, so what if we took cells that were programmed to make red proteins or green proteins in their bacteria, and we just let them multiply as long as they multiply 50-50, red 50, green, you’ll look brown. And group of people together the last day of an event and you get them to that transcendental point and you have them just fall in love with green, I don’t tell them anything else, all of a sudden you see this dramatic shift, the cells start making green proteins more than red proteins.
1:26:41 That’s very important because it not only says that we can alter random events but it actually means we can change gene expression of another species, if you start really thinking about this. So if you really start to think about the power in the human being, then you have to say the individual has to represent the whole, that we are wholeness in parts, we are part of the whole. So the community that is emergent, emergence, emergent community that’s, that is more kind, that’s more loving, this more giving, that’s more innovative, that’s more creative, that’s more uncompromising, it’s more willful, and there’s all these wonderful things that should draw people together.
1:27:25 And so you’re a part of a person’s healing who’s struggling with cancer and they no longer have cancer, and you’re one of the six, seven, eight, nine, ten people that were part of that process, and you listened to the person tell the story whose child had autism that never hugged her or made eye contact with her, one coherent ceiling, and that kid is affectionate with their mother, and the mother’s telling the story, I watch the people that are listening who contributed to that healing are experiencing the same emotion as the mother. That we tend to get, that we get, there’s so much empathy in the human being when you’re part of someone else’s transformation, and the greatest way we receive, the greatest way we feel gratitude is to receive it. So this person who’s genuinely grateful for the change in their child because of a group of people, and they’re emotional and expressing it, we’re feeling the same feeling that she’s feeling, and we’re feeling more of it because we were the one that gave it.
1:28:33 And what happens is these pro-social networks turn on in the brain, and when pro-social networks turn on in the brain, we tend to move closer together, we tend to bond, we tend to unify, and we tend to become more appreciative of life, of the present moment, we’re more present and appreciative for life. That’s to me the natural state of being when we’re not in fear or we’re not in anger. And we’re not there yet, we’re not there yet, but I think that, I think that if we’re ambitious enough to change a collective, and I’m only one of many people that are doing it, and there’s plenty of people in the world that are doing something similar, that if we can leave a, we can leave a mark, a footprint for someone else to step into, then everybody gets to contribute to change.
1:29:23 That’s the beauty behind it. So you get enough people with brain and heart coherence and as a collective network and the magnitude is significant enough, maybe there will be change, right? Right, so concentrate on that community, in that community, no matter the size, it’s kind of the power and the energy of that community. Yeah, I mean, because you go to a student, you’re gonna be a stadium of people, 40,000 people at a soccer game, there’s a lot of energy, it’s just entropic, it’s just disorderly, it’s a lot of people, it doesn’t mean anything.
1:29:52 You can get a smaller group of people collectively with a stronger signal and the more coherent the energy, the more coherent the frequency, the more clear the signal. And so I think, I think, you know, again, pieces of this are all beginning to fit together, but I think the future is community, and I think we have to take care of one another, especially when it matters the most. Yeah, you know, one of the things that’s in a lot of the news that we hear is something that always seems to come up and I wanted to ask you about it, and that is our relationship with money, and I just wanted to get your thoughts on it, because it seems to be one that most people have a dysfunctional relationship, one that charges us in many different ways, unlike our relationship with a car or with plastic or with Kool-Aid, there’s always something in there because it’s so much a part of being human, how we kind of exchange value with each other, and these days you know it’s another thing obviously to panic about, of a slew of things, um, and we don’t go too deep into it, but you must get asked this a lot, and is this something that you talk about when people try to figure out how that sign up.
1:31:58 It is well worth the money.” Yeah, I mean, I’ve always had a great relationship with money. I don’t think about it a lot, I’m not, I mean, I don’t over focus on it, but I’ve always, I’ve always had a great relationship with, always had enough of it, I’ve never been in lack with it. Um, I think, I think as you said, being in a relationship with money is no different than being in a relationship with anything else, right? So I think we come, uh, some of some people come with some pre-programmed things from their childhood, where how love and money are connected, or lack and money are connected, or money is the root of all evil, or money’s from, you know, whatever it is that we have, these programs that I think we come, some people come with at an early age.
1:32:46 But now if you fast forward to today, I think we’re losing control over our resources or how we can choose to use money or spend money. The lack of having money for a lot of people is associated with the lack of having things, but, you know, people have approached me, Brian, and have said, “I got this great idea for a new business, but I don’t have any money,” and I always say the same thing to them: you don’t need money, you need opportunity. Forget the money.
1:33:18 Money is just one way to get there, matter to matter. Create the opportunity, and create the opportunity of plenty of people during the pandemic that lost their jobs and got super creative, they weren’t victims to the circumstances, and like they just thought of something new and they wrestled with that idea a lot and they came up with a way to do it, and I think ideas and the innovation of ideas, there’s always plenty of ways to to create abundance, to create what people need, or come up with a solution. There are infinite number of things that can be done.
1:33:57 The lack of money for many people means the lack of having things, right? And I think we’re losing control to some degree on how we get to invest our money or what what investments could do or where to put money. I mean, it’s just it’s become a really interesting, uh, scenario for a lot of people. But I do think that being innovative, being creative, finding ways to do things that appeal to people and new inventions, new ideas, I think there’s always a solution.
1:34:30 So for me, I always face that opportunity with a greater level of mind, look for a new way to do things. I mean, we’ve had to stop doing events, uh, during the pandemic and we just got super creative, and it was for me it was fun, it was another way to keep the train moving. So if we react to the lack of money, then it seems like it’s really hard to get. So for me personally, and I know there’s a lot of degrees of this. Some people are single parents, you know, and raising three kids and they can only have a certain amount of time, a certain amount of energy, that’s a different scenario than someone who’s a CEO of a company that has a lot of responsibilities.
1:35:10 For a lot of people that’s a whole different scenario. There’s a whole spectrum of it. I do think though that for most people though, getting creative and finding solutions to things, uh, will always create abundance. I have two boys, five and six years old. How would I start to incorporate a bunch of these ideas into their life at this age, or allow them maybe early on to have an awareness of their awareness, or, you know, yeah, is it something to think about?
1:35:41 Um, gosh, I mean, I’ve raised three kids. Uh, we’re doing this study in Australia right now with a thousand kids, uh, with Bond University, from the ages of four to the age of twelve. We’ve divided them to two different categories, four to seven, eight to twelve, two different, two different groups, and we’re doing a ten week study and we’re doing, uh, one meditation every two weeks, different meditation every two weeks, we’re doing five meditations in total, and they’re only 10 minutes long, for the 10 to 15 minutes for the older ones and five to ten minutes for the younger ones, and we’re teaching them how to self-regulate their emotional state, we’re teaching them the proper affirmations to train their brain to think by, uh, we’re teaching them how to shorten the refractory period and stop those programs in different ways, and we’re measuring to see those results.
1:36:36 And I think with children, if you give them the facts, they interpret the laws. The best way for us to raise our children is to be the example of everything you want them to be, and it’s so important for kids to learn how to regulate their emotional states, it’s so important for them to review how they did in the day. I used to do this with my kids, I’d get in bed with them and I’d say, “Oh, today was a tough day for me. Today I lost it a few times. Today I just want to go over this with you guys because I make sure I’m really clear on what I did, and I don’t want to do it again.”
1:37:19 I would be super vulnerable with them, really honest, and I would just wait, and then in a matter of seconds they would just start talking like, “God, I lost my patience today, I knew I could have been better.” You would be amazed at the wisdom come out of children when they’re given the opportunity to really get in touch with who they are and self-reflect, the ability to self-reflect without seeing it in terms of polarity, good and bad or right and wrong, but just as a day that you lived, that you could remember that you would want to change something tomorrow. And then I always say to my kids after that, I’d say, “You know, I really don’t care what happened, I really don’t care what the circumstance, what I care about is, if you had another opportunity to do it, how would you do it if it happened again?”
1:38:04 And then based on their limited experience they would say a few things and I say, “Well yeah, if you did that, well it could do this and that wouldn’t be the outcome you wanted. To do this more than likely this.” “Oh yeah, I didn’t think about that.” So then we would build this model of what it was if the circumstance came, and then I would, uh, use it, usually tell them a story about these kids that live in a faraway land, and I would kind of name them different names and I would kind of give them different qualities, and then I would kind of go over the things that these kids were facing in a story before they went to sleep.
1:38:35 Their brain waves are slowed down, they’re super imaginative, they can program, and then I would usually tease them, you know, and say, “Hey, what would you do if that situation happened again?” And then they would say it and I’d say, “It’s not what we said last night. Come on, score over it again.” And I would go over it with it again until I could articulate it clearly, and then I kept asking, then they would say, “I just want this experience to happen again, so you leave me alone, like, I just, let me get it over with.”
1:39:03 But you can guide children to evolve their experiences by learning from their experiences, just like us. Never ever try to reason with your kid when they’re emotional. You don’t want to be reasoned with when you’re emotional, you’re unreasonable at that moment. No information can enter their nervous system that isn’t equivalent to the emotion they’re experiencing. To help them get beyond the emotion, like I just take my kids out on the trampoline when they were upset, just, “Come on, let’s go jump.”
1:39:33 And 10 minutes later they’re jumping, they’re over, and then at dinner or before I went to bed I’d talk to them, or if they were reacting, I’d stop whatever I was doing and just turn around and observe them and never say anything, just watch them. They knew that I was watching them as long as they weren’t hurt or no one was, you know, there was no danger. They knew that I knew. Then at the end of the day, it was just a great moment for us to come together.
1:39:55 I would certainly lay my cards on the table and they would too, and I’d say, “Yeah, I saw you today.” “Yeah, I remember that.” Yeah, I always want them to be at some level have a conscience, right? I think, I think what people do is they have a conscience and then they test the conscious with some unethical act, or they do something and they get away with it, and now their conscious, conscious, conscience kind of diminishes a little bit, they go further, they get away with that, their conscience diminishes, they go further, and also they don’t have a contents anymore because they’re just, they think that it’s okay.
1:40:27 I always want my kids um to have that level of integrity. In fact, well, my oldest son, his highest value is integrity, and it’s just because he’s that way with himself, like, and because he’s that way with himself he demands that in, you know, in his life. So you give children the facts, they interpret the laws, you teach them, that’s the process, goes on forever, that there’s no right and wrong, there’s no success and failure, you learn from your mistakes, you teach them certain values, you teach them what leadership looks like.
1:41:00 You know, I always tell people, you know, the money thing, you know, I always tell people, you want to learn about money, read books about people who have created a lot of wealth, you’ll get really real. You know this, they just didn’t, they didn’t just get it, they worked hard for it, they failed numerous times, they became wealthy by just never giving up on themselves. I mean, that’s that’s what makes it fun. And then when you’re finally wealthy, you give it away anyway because all you want to do is make a difference in the world.
1:41:29 So make a difference in the world, right? So I think we have this emerging youth community at every event we do, week-long events, even our progressive workshops now, we have about 100 kids under the age of 25 that show up, and I’m investing so much of my time and energy with the youth because they’re going to have to resolve the problems that were created in this world from a limited level of consciousness, from a greater level of consciousness, and they got to know how to lead with their heart and they got to know how to stay relaxed and awake. We’re teaching them about values and principles of leadership, we’re teaching about their hormones, we’re teaching about the neuroscience of culture, how cultures are created, how to change a culture.
1:42:09 We’re teaching them all these things, I’m giving them my time. I mean, I do these Zoom calls with these kids, we talk about abundance, we talk about wellness, we talk about the environment, we talk about education. They want to, they really want to create a new world. So some of these kids are seven years old, you know, I, we do these coherence healings on other people and amazing results. I kneeled down this seven-year-old kid and after the coherent ceiling and I said, “Hey, how was that?”
1:42:41 He said, “That felt really good,” like he was part of it, you know. And then here’s a 10 year old kid on the beach having energy move right into his brain, I’m standing right next to him, his head is back, he’s having an ecstatic moment, he’s 10 years old. I’m watching him on the walking meditation, I’m looking at, thinking, who’s this guy going to be? Who’s this guy going to be when he’s 21? I mean, who’s that guy, right?
1:43:05 So I want the children in our community to grow up where healing from cancer is just what they were exposed to. I want people to hear the story of the guy that stands on the stage and says, “I didn’t have two dollars, I didn’t have two dollars to rub together,” this exact words, “when I came to this event. I’m worth millions now, and I just unders-, I just got it, I got the idea, I knew exactly what I had to do.” He, his experiment hasn’t ended, it just began.
1:43:39 He had a tremendous healing, he was in and out of prison, he was suicidally, had all kinds of problems. His experiment is continuing now because what he’s doing now is he’s seeing if I give away, if I give away more and I enjoy the feeling of giving, will I receive more? And he just keeps getting more and more abundant. Now I want him to talk to the youth, he doesn’t have an issue with lack. Abundant people, don’t we have people who create lots of money in this work?
1:44:11 The first thing they do, many of them, is they give it away. And I asked him, why did you give away half of that? He said, “Well,” this one guy in particular said, “because if I create it once, I can create it again. Like, why would I, why would I hold on to it? I wouldn’t be,” and one person wouldn’t do that, one person would give it away, “I’ll do it again.”
1:44:30 That’s a whole nother consciousness, right? That’s a whole other level. So children participate in the coherence healings, they participate in all the work, they sit. I love seeing a 10 year old kid or an eight-year-old kid talking to a 76 year old woman and they’re talking quantum physics because they’re turning and sharing with each other, and I watch. They love to watch them go into their meditation, they’re just souls, right?
1:44:55 And that exchange of information gets exciting. So they grow up in a community where there’s greater possibilities and they’re exposed to, I think they’ll step out into the world with a new normal, right? And and I want them to react less, uh, to challenges in their life, and we’ve got to teach them how to do that. Yeah, my biggest takeaway I think from today, Dr. Joe, is this concept that you don’t just get the healing, you don’t just create the abundance, you have to change yourself to get these results, and you basically put that ownership back on that individual and say you’re going to have to, I guess, want it bad enough, want that new future, put in the time to beat the resistance against the body in order to get there, and it’s not going to happen any other way.
1:45:44 Yeah, yeah, and I think it’s important because I also think that no one’s going to change you but you, and you have to choose you, that’s the important part. You keep choosing you every day, even when you don’t want to and you don’t feel like, you keep showing up, you get pretty worthy to receive it. It’s no longer about having it, you feel like you already have it. I mean, that’s a, it’s a great place to be. And so if our personality creates our personal reality, and our personality is made up of how we think, how we act and how we feel, and if we want to change our personal reality, it means we’re going to have to change our personality.
1:46:20 I think most people try to create a new personal reality as the same personality, and it doesn’t work. I think we literally have to become someone else. So the experiment then becomes exciting because now you get to focus on you, like what thoughts do you accept, believe and surrender to as if that they are the truth? What memories do you give your attention and your energy to that are just, just residue from the past? What emotions bring you to a lower level where you can no longer see that vision of the future?
1:46:50 That’s the mastery of self, that is the overcoming process. How do I speak? What, how do I, do I complain? Do I blame? Do I make excuses?
1:46:59 Do I feel sorry for myself? And I want to be a happy person. Let me scratch my head here and reason with myself here instead of turning on the TV. Let me sit for a minute and see how I did today. Oh, I’m still unhappy because I’m still complaining, I’m still blaming, it’s that person, is that, sorry, I’m still reliving my past over and I’m still hating people.
1:47:20 You can’t, you can’t get to that person until you address this person, and it’s amazing because the only way you can do it is to know thyself, to become familiar with, that’s what meditation means, to become familiar with, become so familiar with the old self that you don’t go unconscious to it any longer. You know it, and become so familiar by firing and wiring a new self and emotionally conditioning the body to a new state that becomes familiar to you. And so the experiment really is, if I do that properly, or if I try it out, even if it’s just one thought that I battle with every day for two weeks, would it be worth my life?
1:48:01 If I do that properly, nerve cells that no longer fire together no longer wire together, you no longer signal the same genes in the same way if you’re no longer feeling those emotions. All right, let me just see if that’s the truth for me. If I truly do this, will I get happier? If I truly do this, will it help my health condition? Will I sleep better?
1:48:21 Will my pain levels go away? If I truly do this, will there be a synchronicity, an opportunity? It’s the experiment. The experiment now involves you, it becomes a piece of art, it becomes something that you get to practice, not to say that there are other modalities that could help us. The problem is that the insight about yourself never changes the behavior.
1:48:43 The most important thing for us then is once we have the insight, to execute. I would say to my friends, “Oh, they say I have this insight.” We’re going to do with that, we’re going to do with that, because when you start making the application from that insight to change, you’re doing that. Why? Well, everybody just wants to be whole, everybody wants to just be happy, right?
1:49:04 That should be the outcome, and the events that start taking place in our life to prove to us that we created that outcome. I don’t know about you, but you’re not going to feel unhappy from that moment, you’re going to feel pretty excited, and we should use that energy then to create the next experience, and I think that it’s a never-ending process of self-discovery. Well, I can’t wait to, uh, start this, so, uh, I’ll see you Thursday morning. Excellent.
1:49:34 We’re at the ExCeL Centre, you’re invited. I appreciate that invite, and, uh, now I can finally come after talking about it so many years with you. Uh, but I’m so excited and I just want to share something with you, Dr. Joe. I have some affirmations I say every morning and I realize that they are limited, but one of the things I say I got from you is, uh, every morning I say, “I’m connected to the divine,” and that came from you because I think you said that’s when you connect to the divine, I think like four in the morning.
1:49:58 The other thing I say to myself is, “My environment is a product of my internal energy. If I change this, I change the game.” And I say that to myself, but part of me also knows that I need to do that more, so that’s why I’m going to come see you. When it’s the hardest, it matters the most, that’s when it matters the most to be able to change our states when the voice in our head is causing us to doubt and you’re going against thousands of years of programming and survival for the human being, and if we’re eternal, that moment matters the most because it could be the end of that.
1:50:40 And I think that people really want that more than anything else. It’s great to have the affirmation, it’s greater to be the example, to actually do it, to actually make sure we are connected and we feel connected. It’s really important for us to demonstrate that and to know it. That’s when it gets super exciting, because then you open the door for so many unknowns that we aren’t even aware of. I mean, mystical experiences, transcendental moments that bring so much more joy and so much more value, so much more richness to life, no matter what’s going on in the world.
1:51:17 The world can do whatever it wants, but we get to, we get to climb the ladder in a sense to a greater level of awareness, right? So to make sure I don’t have that knee-jerk program reaction when it would be the easiest thing to do, and it’s the hardest thing to, to, to hardwire or to chop that off and be in a grateful state or a giving state or, uh, or feeling emotionally charged or, or, or be in a benevolent state, that’s when it matters. Sure. I mean, it’s not that we react, I react all the time.
1:51:51 The question is how long are you going to react? That’s the real question, how long are you going to run that program? So you could, you, if you knew, if you knew the formula of how to do that, are we no different than dancing the salsa or hitting a tennis ball or crocheting or whatever it is that you practice doing? You just got to take a moment and say, “Oh my God, I’m off center here now.” I just gonna excuse myself, justified, valid or not, the only person that is hurting is you, because your response to that circumstance is actually weakening the organism.
1:52:30 Now what’s the significance of that? Being a victim to our environment causes us to be more susceptible to our environment, to anything. It weakens the immune system, it weakens the internal system when all the energy is gone for the external system. So then you can get away with that a few times, but you keep doing that, you keep knocking yourself out of balance, you’re gonna be headed for some type of disease. And is that person really worth it?
1:52:58 Is that circumstance really worth it? Could you then, even though it’s difficult, say, “Oh my God, I’m out of, I’m out of balance here, I know I’m reacting, I know it’s this person, I know, okay, this is going to take me a lot of energy and a lot of awareness.” If it takes me an hour to get there, it’s better than any drug. You don’t really, you’re not dependent on anyone or anything doing that. You start, those people who have those moments of gamma, they figure it out, they realized that feeling, that unfamiliar familiar feeling that they just had, that arousal, that pure love, that ecstasy, that joy, didn’t come from the sports car, didn’t come from the news, didn’t come from their social media feed, didn’t come from the shopping spree, didn’t come from the drug, somehow it came from within.
1:53:42 I’m going to stop looking out there for it, I’m going to start looking in here for it. That’s when the love affair begins. I love it, Dr. Joe. Thank you for coming here for so many years and thank you for continuing to do the work.
1:53:57 Um, I get to watch you and I’ve been watching you and you seem to be firing on all cylinders. I mean really, it’s amazing to see the success, and I’ve seen the videos and I just, I don’t know, it feels like you’re really at a uh, a moment here to go super exponential, so um, it couldn’t happen to a better person and a better community, and just want to say congratulations for all the success and just wishing you more and more and more. And what does that look like 10 years from now?
1:54:25 I, I really don’t know. I mean, thank you first of all. I mean, uh, I never want this work to be about me, I never do. I really want it to be about you. I wanted to be about the person who’s actually embodying it, who is actually applying it, uh, in, in, uh, I think we’ll continue to do our research.
1:54:44 We have really great ideas, uh, for really, really wonderful and large studies. Um, we’ll continue to find a way to teach it better, to make sure it’s clear. We’ll keep providing the evidence both in testimony, you know, we just got a great testimonial the other day, wonderful. We’ll keep providing the evidence in our scientific measurements to show people that they’re greater than they think, they’re more powerful than they know, they’re more unlimited than they could ever dream.
1:55:16 And I just want to show the people how deep that rabbit hole goes. I mean, all I offer them is my greatest understanding of the truth and numerous opportunities to experience it, that’s it. And we all know this is true, we’ve all met someone who, you know, when you watch them, things flow into their life, which seems like effortlessly. Now they’ve clearly done the work, we all want to be that person to a certain extent. I want to be more of that person, and we all know what you say is inherently true, you know, it doesn’t come from the sports car, it doesn’t come from the shopping spree, it doesn’t come from the drug, it all comes from within.
1:55:50 Uh, yeah, I think, I think people come to this a lot of the, this genre because they know something. What they know, they may not be able to explain or put into words, but they feel it. In fact, for most people they’ve felt it their entire lives, and that feeling is telling them there’s more to reality than this dream. It’s an instinct in their mind, it’s an intuition and knowingness in their heart that never seems to go away. It’s that feeling that brings people, uh, to this work.
1:56:22 Yeah, very much so. I’m very excited, thank you for having me on Thursday. You do events all around the world, and that’s probably the best way for someone to experience this stuff, is to go be with you for a few days or seven days. That’s, to me, to me, as I said, I don’t want to compete with people’s attention. By this information you have to really be present with, and if people can retreat from their lives for seven days, you know, and remove the constant stimulation in their external environment that reminds them of who they think they are as a personality, you know, separate themselves from their family and the people they know and their co-workers and the places they go and the things they interact with, their cell phone, all that stuff, just stop all of that for a period of time and immerse themselves in the content, immerse themselves in the experience.
1:57:07 I, there’s something that happens in three-dimensional reality when community comes together. You know, at the end of a week-long event, the energy we measure, the energy it’s way higher than when we started. There’s energy to heal, there’s energy for the mystical, and I’m not doing that, the collective is doing that, and that’s because our people are present. So it’s very infectious to come to a week-long event, and so many people find that they find community, they find something really magical happens, and I haven’t been able to reproduce that uh, you know, with technology.
1:57:42 So coming to a week-long event is a really exciting week for a lot of people, so I prefer, uh, that we meet in person. Yeah, good. A lot of my community has done that and a bunch of them are here this week, so I’m looking forward to it. Thank you for doing everything you do and um, let’s keep having these conversations, keep changing the world. Thank you for what you do also, I appreciate it.
1:58:03 I mean, so many of these conversations have gone on to change so many people’s lives, and something special happens when we get together in the studio. And yeah, thank you. You’re welcome, you’re welcome. All right, all the best, brother. Thank you.
