1:14 This is London Real, I am Brian Rose. My guest today is Jacob Wuollet, recent graduate of our Life Accelerator. Welcome to the studio. Thank you very much. Tell us about you. Where are you from, what do you do? I live in Sweden, from a small, smaller town outside of Gothenburg, Kungsbacka, and I have a small local business there, so I do some window cleaning and carpeting services, like that, and just me, like keeping it simple.
1:48 And I’m working on starting up some different, well, ecommerce and affiliate marketing, like changing over to that, and that’s the work thing. And I like to move a lot, train a lot, do CrossFit, kickboxing and different movement, fights, home training a lot in my outdoor gym. I like, have a dog, move around in nature and stuff like that. So it’s, yeah. Nice.
2:12 What was going on with you, kind of internally and externally, to make you come seek us out on the Life Accelerator? Yeah, I was introduced to London Real a couple of months before and really got intrigued by the content there and everything, the mindset, kind of thinking, and it was really on the route that I was going on for the last six months, of really doing a lot of changes, and so I really resonated with the whole kind of concept.
2:37 And so when I found the Life Accelerator, I was struggling with a lot of, like I said, been trying to do a lot of changes, and it’s been back and forth. I mean, do meditation, but it’s kind of getting out of routines and everything, and trying to make them stick. So I really felt like it was some things I already do, my gratitude, meditation, different practices, but I want to really get it to stick better and take it to the next level, and learn all the additional stuff, and, you know, develop.
3:08 So I was, yeah, fighting distractions, disorganisation, like mental fatigue, and time, and having some, yeah, it’s just like that internally, and procrastination obviously, like the number one thing. And externally it was, it was more of, I really forgot what I was gonna say there. Yeah, no, that’s right. No, I got it. I get a feel for it.
3:43 Why London Real, though? Why trust us? You know, because it’s a time investment, it’s a financial investment. Why? It’s interesting, and I think when I found you, I realised I found you through a Facebook ad. You did kind of a pitch for the Business Accelerator at the time. It was a couple of months before, like I said.
4:00 And you see a lot of, especially when you’re searching and doing a lot of, like, development things and everything, you see a lot of these kind of ads in the similar category popping up, and a lot of them you can, like, sort out kind of fast, and then there’s some that stick, you know, and you were one of them that kind of felt genuine, felt like you had something to give.
4:30 And so I started following you. I started to, like I said, appreciate the content. I felt like I really resonated with the message, the kind of way of thinking and everything. Everything was just, yeah, I trusted that you had the knowledge that you said you had, and trusted that practice was gonna be useful.
4:47 Okay, so you pulled the trigger. I drop you into this group of people from all around the world, yeah, probably was weird. Get you started, right, with a couple of modules, you got live calls with me, the accountability doc. What’s that first two weeks like for you? The first two weeks, like, really quickly I realised I underestimated the power of the community, of having this team, and, like you said, the people from all around, available and everything.
5:10 And when you talked about that during the webinar and everything, it was kind of, yeah, yeah, I thought, like, yeah, yeah, show them the real stuff, the real, like, the practice, everything. And talking about the value of having the community, the team. And really fast, like before the actual start of the course, I realised that this is gonna be a really powerful thing, and it’s kind of, I felt that it was really instant. We created a kind of good atmosphere.
5:42 Oh yeah, the like-minded people. People were there to develop, people were there to find ways to get better and everything, and it created a really good platform. But at first I had really struggled, a real threshold with starting to record myself, and I think really odd, and this is something I’ve been planning to do for a while. Like I said, I’m starting with affiliate business, I’m planning to do some recording, I think, but I haven’t gone quite there yet.
6:07 And so I realised this is gonna be a lot harder than I anticipated, and so it was like after 20 tries for the first video, it started to loosen up after a few videos, and it was really nice to get, you know, especially through the first couple of weeks, it was like threshold after threshold, barrier, kind of pushing through, like these small things, to just be more comfortable with that.
6:33 Getting more with the videos, I tended to, like, tended to be really long, and I didn’t get the things I want to say said in a concise kind of a manner, so I tried really to practise that, and it got better and better, so I got really better at trying to, at saying what I’m thinking, so I could present myself. And also English being the second language, that also got honed and everything. But so, yeah, some of it, obviously, there was the practices.
7:04 What was the biggest struggle for you? Besides getting the video initially, but you got through that. Of all the modules, what was the hardest? I think the last ones, yeah, definitely, because I’m actually still kind of struggling with getting, yeah, getting the last parts done.
7:18 It’s been some, when we got to module five, with the relationships, I really see the power of it, and I know that because I have been postponing things with it for a long time, especially since I’m divorcing with my wife at the moment, and it’s been kind of, well, it’s a sort of amount of time, but it’s been a really complicated, weird situation there for a while.
7:40 And it’s been kind of, been kind of a nice, and so every time I get to that I kind of, like, crash into it a bit. So it’s been, I really got to a point where I feel like I got to take care of this, and some other stuff too, when there was a purging and everything, but that really got me a little frozen for a while, and I dropped the momentum, so I got out of my gears. But I’m working on it, and that’s been the hardest part.
8:06 Okay. Then I feel the module six, and planning everything, is just, it’s gonna be hard, and it is hard, but it’s, yeah, it’s a really good process that I need to go through. Yeah, it’s necessary. What’s the biggest takeaway from the course, like the thing you’re most happy about? I think it must be extreme ownership, the biggest takeaway, and practising it, at least.
8:30 Because I realised through this also that I’ve always put up with excuses, or come up with excuses, for my behaviour, for being late. But like my whole life, I’ve been running to buses, running to places, to meetings, to everything. I’ve been late all the time. And sure, I have, I’m starting, maybe, you know, everyone is starting at different points with different circumstances, but we can do something about it, obviously.
8:54 And but if you settle for the excuses that you put up with, you don’t do as much to change it. And I realised that no excuse is no longer viable. I need to really make it happen, because obviously it’s making me miserable. This is just one of the things, but yes, extreme ownership really flipped my perspective, and in so many ways.
9:17 Just time is one thing, but, yeah, in every aspect of life, when I tried to implement this, it shifts your perspective in a real powerful way, to realise that you can take control, and you want to take control. So that’s a really good, good, yeah, powerful. Yeah, I can see that. I can see how it’s changed you a lot.
9:36 Okay, what would you say to someone who’s watching us, who’s on the fence, kind of like how you originally were, like seeing it, not sure if the Academy is the right thing for me, but doesn’t know? What would you tell them? Do it. It’s such a powerful experience, and it gives you so much experience, in terms of, kind of, in every way.
9:57 I like, I said, I feel both with the whole, whole thing, it can be really strange at first if you haven’t done a lot of online things, online courses or anything. That concept was really strange for me at first, but that was a really good thing. But getting this community, getting through the practices, and getting that kind of accountability doc, I could talk about that.
10:20 That was a big thing for me also, why I joined, because I felt like falling in and out of these practices and things, changes, I wanted to see, I needed accountability, because I wasn’t able to put in enough of it myself. So having that support, having the calls and everything, and getting the right kind of, I did meditation, I did gratitude, for example, but this allowed me to take a little step back and then go forward, like relearn a little bit, and learn it in a more efficient way, the different practices. So it’s immense value. I would say do it.
10:52 Nice. Well, we got 12 months, so make sure we get through module six to plan that out. Got a monthly call, you got the team leaders, but it’s great to see your journey on this, and I’m sure you’re just going nowhere but further if you can stick to these practices, and similarly, you know, you pulled the trigger. So congrats, welcome to the family. Thank you. And let’s keep doing some big things in the next 12 months. Definitely. All right, thank you, sir. Thank you very much.
