Roger Ver - The Future Of DeFi & The Benefits Of Bitcoin Cash

Founder of

Today’s guest is a man who has led an extraordinary life, he’s the business leader, entrepreneur, visionary investor and cryptocurrency evangelist Roger Ver. To many, he is known simply as ‘Bitcoin Jesus’ and maybe this moniker more closely reflects his forthright and unwavering approach to spreading his message of financial freedom for the entire human race.

Roger Ver’s significance in the crypto universe cannot and should not be underestimated and for those reasons, I’m absolutely delighted he’s decided to join me on London Real, so you can share with me a journey into the world of decentralised finance that will underline exactly why this next decade will represent The Greatest Dislocation of Wealth in Human History.

Roger is a colourful character but don’t let that distract from the incredibly important message he is trying to convey to as many people as possible. Education is the first stepping stone for anyone looking to navigate the choppy waters of cryptocurrency and decentralised finance, and something that we at London Real pride ourselves on providing.

Having access to the right kind of information will help you make the right decisions not just for today, but for tomorrow, and for many years to come. DeFi is going to revolutionise the concept of finance for billions of people around the world, giving ‘ordinary’ citizens, yes YOU, well deserved financial freedoms.

This is why my team and I are going “all in” on this technology and infrastructure and plan on spending the next 10 years teaching, understanding, broadcasting, educating, investing in, profiting from and transforming this exciting new marketplace.

If you want to take that first step then please visit our DeFi Academy for the opportunity to take control of your finances and create a brighter more prosperous future.

Roger Ver took his first step back in 2011 when Bitcoin was labelled a Ponzi Scheme and the notion of cryptoassets sounded like a tangent in a Sci-fi novel.

Recognising the potential of a peer to peer electronic cash system that could be used by people all over the world, and with the price of BTC still under a dollar, Roger put everything he had into Bitcoin and started looking at ways to develop and invest in the ecosystem and help build the tools that will enable its common use.

Since then, Roger’s life has been a whirlwind of ups, downs and roundabouts as his libertarian ideologies have taken him on an unexpected yet eventful journey.

He first took on the powers that be as he ran for office and the California State Assembly, only two years later he was serving ten months in prison for selling ‘explosives’ on eBay. He bought and sold Bitcoin for huge profits, bought the domain name, created a number of hugely successful e-commerce projects and renounced his US citizenship before relocating permanently to Japan.

Today much like his prophesising of ten years ago, he extols the virtues of Bitcoin Cash, the asset Bitcoin was supposed to be and encourages all of us who will listen to make this our next crypto consideration.

A truly enigmatic character, Roger has forgotten more about the world of Decentralised Finance than many of us will ever know, so be sure to check out this fascinating conversation and share it with your friends. After all, as Roger puts it,

“I love cryptocurrency so much because it allows information to flow for everyone all over the world to make this a better place for all of us.”
