Dr Steven Greer is an American ufologist and retired emergency physician, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1955. He founded the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (CSETI) in 1990 and the Disclosure Project in 1993, which gathers testimony from people who say they have knowledge of UFOs, and has made documentaries including Sirius and Unacknowledged.
Brian Rose has interviewed Greer twice on London Real, in September 2023 and June 2024. They talked about his move from medicine into UFO research, his claim that a secret, unaccountable group controls recovered alien technology, reverse-engineered craft and suppressed energy technology.
Both interviews are listed below.
The Truth About UFOs, Alien Technology & Extraterrestrial Contact (September 2023). His first appearance, covering his background and the full outline of his claims.
Greer’s work since 1993 has centred on persuading governments to release what he says they know about UFOs, using testimony from former military and government personnel. He calls himself part of the disclosure movement.
Speaking in 2024, he said the entity that controls the UFO matter has more power than any single government or world leader. He describes it as an illegal shadow government.
Greer claims that recovered craft have been studied to develop advanced propulsion and energy systems that are being kept from the public.
Greer says alien visitors have been coming to Earth for thousands of years and that people can deliberately initiate contact, an approach he teaches through CSETI.
