Carl Runefelt, also known as The Moon to his legions of devoted followers, is widely considered one of the pre-eminent voices in the volatile world of cryptocurrency and more specifically the world’s scarcest asset, Bitcoin.
Carl is a cryptocurrency analyst, investor, YouTube influencer, Bitcoin maximalist and philanthropist who balances a unique blend of analysis and entertainment to help bridge the widening chasm between the mainstream world and its crypto counterpart.
He is a truly unique character who has built a huge portfolio of wealth and all from a modest starting point.
Just a few years ago, Carl was making ends meet by working in a grocery store back in his homeland, Sweden before as he puts it, he was overwhelmed by the feeling that he wasn’t doing what he was supposed to.
Carl set about changing his circumstances by focusing his time and attention on visualising a better, more prosperous existence through Bitcoin, and in a few short years has become one of the most successful protagonists in the cryptosphere.
He is the founder and host of the incredibly successful Youtube channel ‘The Moon’ where his regular updates, price predictions and trading advice have captivated people from all corners of the world. He is also as bullish on Bitcoin as any guest I’ve spoken to. He is every inch the maximalist, and his arguments and reasoning make for a compelling case.
Carl believes that traditional financial institutions are on the brink, that governments and the banking systems are not working in your favour and the only viable solution is to invest and hold a portfolio of cryptocurrency, in particular Bitcoin and Ethereum.
He is extremely vocal on the need for new users and potential investors to do their research to get acquainted and educated, not only with current monetary policy but also how cryptocurrency works. And what makes Bitcoin a digital form of Gold, that is in his words, is destined to reach huge highs by the end of this year and furthermore a value of $10 million at some point in the distant future.
Carl is also an investor in Kasta, an alternative mobile payment method that uses cryptocurrency to facilitate digital payments. The goal is to make that most coveted breakthrough, that facilitates the onboarding of millions of people by destigmatising crypto and making it user friendly and easy to use, for both payments and investment.
Carl has achieved huge success in a short space of time, and much of that can be put down to his passionate approach and wealth of knowledge. He genuinely wants to see as many people as possible achieve the same success he has, and is determined to make that happen sooner rather than later.
His current goals also include helping others by making charitable donations through cryptocurrency that can have a truly positive impact on the world, because ultimately too many people have too little choice.
