Kevin Green's 4 Keys To Success
Look behind Kevin Green’s self-effacing and humble manner, and you find an astute, meticulous and highly driven entrepreneur.
There’s a reason he is the UK’s top real estate owner. He has been mentored by Sir Richard Branson and gives talks across the globe on how to achieve success.
Normally, I try to break down the core lesson from each guests into three takeaway points. However, Kevin already breaks down his own success into FOUR essential themes.
Here are Kevin Green’s four themes of success:
- Attitude is everything
- Stay grounded.
Kevin Green's 4 Keys Of Success
1. Self-awareness is a big one for all of us, no matter the industry. You can read all the success books you want, and apply great business techniques, but if you are in the wrong game, you will always be stuck.
We must know our limits and our talents, and be honest with ourselves about what we are good at. There’s no point trying to please everyone. Get clear on your gifts and passions, and start living your destiny.
2. Everyone is on their own journey. Our idea of success might be different to others. Everyone you meet has their own story, and deserves to be given the same level of respect.
Having hit rock bottom himself, Kevin knows the potential for transformation if ordinary people are given a chance in life. So see the best on others, and they will treat you the same way.
3. Self-belief is an essential component of success, but it doesn’t always come easy.
The good news is that it can be built over time. Kevin, like many of our guests, is naturally an introvert, but he has taught himself to be a strong, effective communicator. Whatever your self-esteem levels, confidence comes with practice, so don’t sweat it. Just start small, and build a lasting core of positive self-belief.

4. Stay grounded – Success is a scary business. Most of us avoid it because it terrifies us. Kevin says Sir Richard Branson taught him a vital lesson about keeping his feet on the ground.
Sir Richard’s approach to business is to always keep in mind of the big picture. Look at the structure, be an observer. Don’t get caught up in success or rest on your laurels.
A major part of maintaining success is to always be evolving and adapting, and to do this you need to stay objective about yourself and your business.
