Rudy Giuliani is an American politician and former lawyer, born in Brooklyn in 1944, who was Mayor of New York City from 1994 to 2001. Earlier, as US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, he prosecuted Mafia leaders. His leadership after the 11 September 2001 attacks earned him the nickname America’s Mayor, and he later became a lawyer and adviser to Donald Trump.
