Step 4 – Affirmations

Well done on the SMART Goals! I’m starting to see evidence that you’re serious about your success, so let’s keep it up.

Next step! First of all take a look at this clip of Steve Maxwell talking about the power of positive self-talk and affirmations.

The Power Of You Self-Talk

Now it’s time to start programming your mind proper.

Affirmations only work if you do them consistently and over time. This is going to be the first of many commitments to YOURSELF that I want you to make.

You’ve set yourself goals, so now I want you to create a daily affirmation around each of your goals.

Make them as powerful and SPECIFIC as possible, and remember – affirmations should be recited as if you goal has already happened.

Here’s an example of how I do my affirmations:
