Ross Edgley – The Great British Swim

Ross Edgley, the athlete, adventurer, and author, with a decade-long career in sport, fitness and nutrition.

He has just spent the last 157 days to become the first swimmer, to circumnavigate the whole of Great Britain, 1,791 miles, nearly 3000 kilometers, without touching land. Swimming for up to 12 hours a day, and consuming up to 15,000 calories per day.

Previously he set world records climbing the height of Mount Everest up a rope continuously over 24 hours (I was there), and running a marathon pulling a 1.4-tonne car.

wow – this episode was powerful. I have to admit: I haven’t watched a london real episode for more than 6 months now due to a different “learning and development” focus. And this was a great episode to join back in. Till this day I have never had heard of Ross, but I’m so inspired right now. What a story, what a journey and what a humble laugh and attitude. Great interview @Brian!

Oh man! I followed all of your interviews, and I followed his epic challenge closely and what can I say it was a huge inspiration to watch it. He is a real legend, and I’m sure he will break a lot more world records!
