Masiela has had nothing given to her; she has had the will to succeed on her own and arrived here in the states at the age of 7 years old. She and her mother were political refugees fleeing from Albania, on a bus that had been threatened by a bomb attack. English was her 4th language; at 12 she was modelling. A talent agent noticed her at the age of 13 and off to Hollywood she went. In the meantime she had published her first books on poetry and was considered one of America’s top young poets. About ten minutes into the interview, I shut it off entirely. There was something really wrong with this Miss Lusha person, a really negative gut feeling about her that made me shut this episode off. Dr. Gad Saad posted an article for “Psychology Today” about celebrity narcissism and their delusions about how they believe they can “cure the world’s ills” because of the renowned statuses they’ve attained. This article seems to say a whole lot about how misinformed and illusive Hollywood people (and the entertainment industry) are as a whole.
