Kettlebell Hell

This week’s London Real Fit Workout Of The Week is something I like to call “Kettlebell Hell”, and for good reason! The circuit is as follows:

20x two-handed swings
10x right-handed snatches
10x left-handed snatches
10x burbees with jump and a clap
Rest
Repeat x2 (3 Rounds Total)

I use a 32kg kettlebell for swings, and a 20kg kettlebell for the snatches, but use whatever is challenging yet safe for you. The important thing with this workout is you’re timing yourself! Keep the form solid throughout, the rest period short, and push through the hell!

Hi Brian

Have you ever tried to see how many KB swings you can do in 20 minutes with 20kg KB, Its a tough challenge, would love to see how many swings you do.

Got back into this sexy workout today with 28kg and 20kg ‘bells. 9mins, which I’m pretty pleased about given I was tired and in a gym with no air-con in 30 degree heat! Next time around, I’ll pick up the 32kg kettlebell that was looking at me while I did the workout…

Crazy times that you guys achieved there! On paper it felt like 6 min. I ended up with 11:35. I will do it again next week under 10 min, so there`s my first challenge. I used 24 / 16 kg. Hey Brian + LRA’ers, Took the challenge, video at link. This was as much an exercise in me posting video (or pictures) of myself publicly for the first time – something I have purposely avoided to this point because I have preferred to be more private – but obviously to be a KPI I need to do the exact opposite so time to jump in. Managed 6:05 today, but with a much lower load, so doesn’t really count. Will try to knock it down to less than 6 tomorrow anyway

pain is temporary, inflated sense of self eternal 😉
I need to admit I was doing 30 burpees a day for last two weeks and used a lightweight medicine ball with handles rather than KB, need to up weight
