James Reed is the Chairman of REED, a recruitment business that is family owned and employs over 3,500 people around the world.

James is a regular media commentator on work and labour market issues. His recent appearances include BBC News, Sky News, CNN, CNBC, London Live, Bloomberg, Sunday Brunch and The Apprentice. He shares his knowledge and experience in a monthly blog for the Huffington Post Young Voices section.

I loved the interview. One issue I wish would have been discussed was job candidate nerves.What would have been his advise on that. Some candidates have excellent experience and knowledge but during the interview the pressure is so much because they want the job with all their being and they completely mess up. It would have nothing to do with lack of preparation. Just nerves!

That’s good advice. I have gotten more information on becoming a resident of Portugal from the youth passing through my hostel than I have from any network. They are always thinking and, here [Europe in travel mode] on the hustle.
