The sound quality isn’t the best but I highly recommend watching this video from Mark Passio on the same topic.

This is a good interview, and I agree with a great deal of what he says, but I feel like he goes a little too far by saying that men “have to be” leaders and women have to necessarily stay in the background. Also, he is a bit too naive about trump and bolsonaro. I do believe he should read more about what is really happening in Brazil. Bolsonaro is a clown and a puppet of the military.

This interview is fucking gold. It’s the gold standard of interviews. The entire time I’ve been watching I’ve had the widest grin on my face, with complete focus. Captivating.

E.Hulse Interview on London Real – Notes

Here’s what I learnt
– Masculinity is stillness
– A masculine man is grounded
– We are living on the edge between two different ages – and its always darkest before the sun rises
– Weed increases femininity
– Assault on manhood as soon as you arrive on earth due to circumcision
– Women know who they are – men need examples, rites of initiation
– An initiation is an introduction to your new self
– Every wound is a womb
– There should be a leader in a relationship – I’m batman and she’s robin

In this era of globalization and all modern things, interviews like this share the same wisdom as the Bible, Quran and other ancient samples for good life. Just amazing.

Elliot hulse resonantes alot with most of the situations men face and teach them accordingly. I knew him on youtube but his personality was outcast at best in a single video. thank you brian for such an amazing introduction to an amazing personality.

“Consuming is feminine. Ya know? [ahhh…. no… no, actually I don’t…] The vagina *consumes.*” Omg… I can’t… I cannot. Lmao! I can’t deal with this pseudo-intellect but thank for the belly laugh though. I’m still laughing in fact. Wtf?!? I’ll be looking out for your commencement speech at Harvard for the Class of 2019.🤣😂🤣

Wow, I was expecting to see more discussion about this interview. I am glad I stuck it out to the end, because I could appreciate what a powerful speaker hs is, and I resonated with some of his ideas and methodology – specifically about anxiety, the Tao and active meditation. (He’s right on about circumcision too.) It was also lovely to hear how sweet he is on his wife. But when I reflect back on the first half of the interview, I shake my head. Hulce’s ideas about gender and women left me speechless. WTF?? But, he is part of… Read more »

Thanks for your great comments. I watched the first 5 minutes and thought WTF? Really disappointed Brian didn’t challenge the women’s vote question. That alone means I won’t be wasting any more of my time on this video. With you on Anita Moorjani. We should be evolving to see the oneness in everyone, not regressing to cave men.

The thing is, everything that’s happening right now just represents social pressure. And all of it is causing the behavioral sink that we see today. Look up John B Calhoun’s experiment on rats. The perfect eutopia increased social pressure which started causing sexual deviancy (anything other than straight sex). One possible reason for this is because there were now less activities to differentiate the sexes since many characteristics regarding survival are predominantly attributed to males. As such, more emphasis was placed on the activities that still DID exist, such as sex. But with greater emphasis being placed on it, it… Read more »

I like Elliott a lot, but to suggest that Trump is more alpha than Obama, seems a bit daft. If Trump was on the Titanic, without enough lifeboats, and it was women and children first, he would 100% put on a dress. He’s alpha in the same way a toddler having a tantrum is alpha.

Elliot stands for men. That is great. But can he and everybody else cut the crap about feminine in a man. This is such a political correct bull crap. Yes you have feelings,.Yes you can become introvert BUT NOT A WOMAN. Not femiinne. this trans gender and gay crap bullshit has to stop. We need to find new words for this process. New words for feelings. If you feel vulnerable thats good, but you are not unknowingly gay or If you feel and like soft stuff you are not becoming a woman. Its time for new explanations. A man has… Read more »

Great interview. My only complaint is that it seems your last “ad” on the show always cuts off some of the content. That’s really annoying that we miss a part of the interview during your last advertisement about the show.

I come from a family that could be seen by others as sexist. Men traditionally did the work outside the home. Farmer, mechanic, meatcutter, whatever. And women traditionally did the work inside the home. Cooking, cleaning, gardening, child-rearing. My grandmother and aunts all did that. And even in that very divided environment, in my little boy brain, I somehow decided that both jobs were essential, and both were important, and it NEVER OCCURRED TO ME to think less of women than of men. Any rancher should be able to tell you that bulls and cows are different. I have a… Read more »
