Dr Michael Greger is the Physician, bestselling author, and speaker who advocates a plant based, whole foods diet to reverse and prevent, fatal disease and illness.

He is a graduate of Cornell University and the Tufts University School of Medicine, and his New York Times bestselling book “How Not To Die” examines the fifteen top causes of death in America.

I loved this interview.. I like the way Brian talked to him about making a plan to keep his work alive. That was very nice to watch.
Dr. Gregor is an amazing Dr that has helped me and my family live a more healthy diet. I hope to be around fa long time for or my Grandchildren as well!

Hate to be a wet blanket but if you stop smoking your lung cancer risk may go back to normal, but apparently COPD can still get you.

A study published in 2014 looked at 198 patients to further investigate whether eating a strict plant-based diet could stop or reverse heart disease. It found of the 177 patients who stuck to the diet, the majority reported a reduction in symptoms and 22 per cent had disease reversal confirmed by test results. But that study didn’t just rule out animal products – it also cut out added oils, processed foods, sugar, refined carbohydrates, excess salt, fruit juice, avocado, and nuts. Physical activity was also encouraged and prescribed medication continued.

When has the vegan diet ever been shown to reverse heart disease? This is a regurgitated vegan lie! It never has. Most of the time vegans use this they are referring to the Dean Ornish experiment which focuses on comprehensive lifestyle changes. It was not a vegan diet! FACT! The diet included animal products! Absolutely love Gregers excitement when he speeks, so inspiring! Also feel very disappointed that Brian over n over tries to deny the health benefits from being plantbased, even when he did it himself for a whole year. Like reaally trying to find something bad with the movue, and why being so begär e on the erectuon part when its all true…

This has got to be the most disrespectful, insulting and ingenuous interviewer I have ever seen. An absolute disgrace. This guy clearly doesn’t care, or appreciate the work Greger is doing. It’s all about himself. Constantly belittling Greger and trying to suck the energy and passion out of him. Good job Greger is bulletproof! Still, I left just wanting someone to tell Greger how much we appreciate his work and what a truly amazing person he is.

“Yeah, yeah, I get it”, “Whatever”… Come ON Brian! Same dismissive stance taken with Dr Barnard when both have explained the objective scientific benefits of being plant based. This is really disappointing and not the standard I’d hope for from LR, especially after the amazing work you did with John Joseph on Iron Mind. Peace.

Thank you, Dr. Greger, for the terrific service you provide! I’m sure you’re opening the eyes of many to the wonders that can be achieved through excellent nutrition. There is a great deal of fantastic research constantly being done throughout the world, but it, unfortunately, doesn’t do much good unless brilliant people like you take the time to read it and share it with the world. Interested section on Alzeimers. I do not understand how Dr G has not come across the amazing work of Dr Dale Bredesen and his ReCode protocol. He has had sensational results with halting and reversing Alzeimers.

39:00 Brian’s ragging on not showing the absolute best athletes sounds so disingenuous. imho, these are elite level athletes with the performance, muscle bulk, muscle definition that trounce the vegan/vegetarian stereotype. Considering 1% of the overall population is vegetarian/vegan, the fact that they have such representation says alot… and Brian just dismisses that in that Joe Rogan way.
