Titanium Tea Challenge

BODY & MIND™ TITANIUM TEA CHALLENGE

TITANIUM TEA CHALLENGE ACTIVITY

If you could 10x your output…how would your life change?

That’s the first thing you read when you visit the website of former London Real guest, Tim Ferriss.

There’s a reason his books “4-hourworkweek” and “4-hourbody” are bestsellers, he is a master in physical and mental peak performance.

One of the big shifts he made these last years was switching from coffee to black tea.

He calls it “Titanium Tea”:

Tim Ferriss Shows Your How To Make Titanium Tea

While coffee can make you go from superman to suicidal, Titanium Tea gives you just enough spark to go on with your day without experiencing a mental crash or compromising a good night of sleep.

CHALLENGE

Replace your coffee with black tea, preferable Titanium tea for 7 days.

ACTION!
Post your video in the comments below and tell us how it made you feel.

This week has been difficult for me to avoid my morning coffee! Still trying though!

I don’t blame you!
I am a big coffee lover and have tried many substitutes over time, but nothing hits the spot like black coffee:)
So I renewed my vows with this fantastic beverage!

Bonsoir les amis! 3 realisations after 2 days of tea challenge:
1) Hydrating with green or mint tea in the morning is better than having coffee first thing
2) I enjoy the taste of coffee after lunch also because I put sugar in it, so that’s another nutrition habit to address…
3) Even though I thought I was coping well with the lack of sleep by using my own little body’s reserves, nope! it was coffee all along, keeping me from crashing… I knew I was supposed to sleep more, but now that’s more obvious.

Hello Aude. If you’re looking for another option to replace sugar, you could also use stevia. That’s the sweetener.I’m using. 🙂

Bonjour Aude!
If you watch some of the videos I posted you will see what a big coffee fan I am.
I never found any real value into switching to anything else, although matcha tea has its privileged place in my heart and mind.
Try palm sugar (jagheera) as a more healthy substitute with your coffee. I like mine black and bitter:)

It’s on… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWQOs0wKTo8 – more on this later in the week. So far this reminds me of the Bulletproof Coffee.

Since I already drink Tea on a regular basis and almost no coffe anyway I thought I’d give Tim Feriss’ Titanium Tea a try as shown above.

Same for me. Never really experienced a convincing positive effect and the taste of coffee also doesn’t really do it for me so… Tea on the other hand is a love that was passed on down to me by my Dad. But I don’t drink it for the caffeine effects.

Hi Matt! Beautiful surroundings!
So, how did your tea week go so far? Are you going back to coffee?
You can imagine the ordeal it has been for me;)

I am surprised you have made it this far Kris 😉 It has actually been far easier than I thought.. I’ve found lots of teas that I like, but I’ve been moody without my coffee 😉 I think it’s good to challenge yourself, but I am sure I will enjoy coffee well in to the future 🙂

Matt, I am actually cycling my coffee habits with decaf over the week ends and the more quiet “professional times”. I am trying out and exploring other alternatives like matcha tea as well as Yerba Mate. So when I get back to black coffee, I get the best kick ever….every time! It’s a fantastic way to enjoy the habit 🙂

Why, you man of so little faith! What would have been that one challenge that deterred me; the dressing up week? LOL, I thought it’s when YOU gave up:)

I’ve been a slave to coffee since 1996. It’s like a candy bar for me. I ingest it even when I know it’s not good for me. Fortunately, my wife whips up some wicked tea. Tomorrow is 1 July, 2016. That is a perfect time to accept the challenge.

Hi Luchia

I woke up this morning wondering whether I should reach for the coffee or not, your video inspired me to reach for the tea. I recently ended up hospitalised very briefly after suffering an attack as a result of an imbalance in my nervous system, as a result of that I stopped drinking coffee for 3-4 weeks but ended up slipping back in to bad habits recently and I have noticed an increase in my levels of anxiety ever since.

Thank you for the #mondaymotivation

Hey Zoe so happy to inspire you. I end up in ER two years ago with a panic attack . I was on non-stop double espressos, overworked, overtired….and over everything. After that night in ER I made a decision to change my entire mindset and then my routine. Coffee was the hardest to give up but I do not miss it at all. Each time I want to have one I think about the ER night and stop my self. I meditate and do yoga daily. I do not watch the news although I work at a TV station but… Read more »

Hey Luchia

I missed your comment! I’m working on exactly the same thing right now, taking one old habit at a time and replacing them with new practices that benefit my mind body and soul in one way or another 🙂 Thank you for the encouragement and congratulations and making the change! x
