Full transcript: Bruce Lipton on London Real
0:11 Talk to me about Bruce and his life. What are some of your daily practices? How do you start your day? What are things that you do in your life now to make you so handsome and happy? You know, to make you conscious. You know, what have you learned over the years that you put into practice?
0:27 I think that love of everything is the big thing. Wake up and be in love. Be in love with life. Just, I mean, the idea of living on this planet. I have a chance, like not a lot of people don’t have it.
0:40 I travel around the world. I’ve seen so many different countries. I’ve seen this planet in so many beautiful ways. And I’ve come to another understanding in my life, which is my understanding from a biological point of view. And that is, I perceive this planet as heaven. That we were born in heaven. We don’t die and go to heaven.
1:00 We come into heaven. In other words, I recognize something I never knew as a biologist until I started to understand the nature of how the membrane of the cell worked. I didn’t believe in spirituality. I was, hey, genes, proteins, cells, that’s all machines and stuff like that. I’ve since seen the mechanism where our identity is not even in here. Our identity is a broadcast.
1:25 I have receptors. You have receptors for an identity. No two people have the same set. They’re called self-receptors of all, that’s a hell of a name. Self-receptors, receivers of self.
1:36 Well, it is. It’s a broadcast. My identity is picked up on the surface of my cells. I have these antennas, like a combination lock. You have a set on your cells, but we don’t have the same set.
1:46 We may have some overlap, but not the same set. No two people have the same set. Meaning, I can’t take cells or organs out of my body and put it in anybody else because they have a different self. And the immune system will eliminate it. I said, well, where’s the self? The immune system recognizes it.
2:01 It’s these receptors. I said, what if you take these receptors off? I said, well, then it’s a generic human cell. It’s going to anybody. But when the self-receptors are on, it’s a unique human cell. It’s an individual.
2:13 I said, yeah, but the receptors, we were counting those as what makes us different. I go, they’re antennas. They receive a signal from the environment. So my identity is something being picked up from the environment, played through my cells. If I die, which is the thing that really hit me, I said, well, the cells and the receptors are gone.
2:35 Yeah, but the broadcast is still here, the broadcast. So if another embryo shows up in the future with the same combination, then I’d be back on the air again, but in a different body. And that’s a new observation for you. For me, it blew my mind because I didn’t believe in spirituality. So your soul will live on. You will live on.
2:57 Yeah, and what we do is an exchange. As a scientist, at that moment that I said, oh my God, I’m an identity. I’m a broadcast. I said to myself, why have a spirit and a body then? Why not just be the spirit?
3:12 And my cells, being quite humorous, I think, responded by saying, Bruce, if you’re just a spirit, what does chocolate taste like? And then it hit me. I said, oh my God. All of our senses are mechanisms. Eyes, ears, nose, taste, touch.
3:28 They convert our world into sensation. But the nervous system doesn’t see pictures or smell things. It just gets the vibrations. And remember I said you could put wires on your head and read your brain activity. Well, there’s a new device, not electrocephalograph, magneto encephalograph.
3:44 The difference is the probe is out here. And I could read your brain activity out here. Which all of a sudden says, oh my God, we are converting our experiences into nervous system vibration. The communication is all vibration, electromagnetic vibration. And we broadcast that.
4:02 And I said, well, where’s it going? I said, well, going back to source. A spirit cannot taste chocolate. It doesn’t have taste buds. It can’t see a sunset. It doesn’t have eyes.
4:12 But if I get into this virtual reality suit and have all these experiences, my nervous system translates them into a vibration. And they go back to source. So it’s essential being in this body. Yeah, but that’s the pleasure and the creative aspect. That’s why I look at it as heaven.
4:29 In a body, I am creative. I can build, I can move, I can do things, I can sense things. And now I realize, oh my God, we came here to taste the chocolate. We came here to see those sunsets. And all of a sudden I realize, boy, my programming in the first seven years as a male offset that.
4:51 Because what did we learn as males generally? Not to be sensitive. And I go, well, that’s right away the difference between women and men. Women are allowed to be sensitive. We have shut it off.
5:04 Why? Well, if you’re going to be a soldier, you can’t be sensitive. So we have been programmed to be insensitive. Of course, that makes a crap relationship with women who are sensitive, because they look at you, oh, you were an insensitive, loud, you know? And it’s like, that was my programming.
5:20 I thought, wow, what a waste of a life to cut off those sensory experiences. And so one of the things I learned after, you know, the cells taught me was, go out and taste it and touch it and smell it and feel it. And if it’s good, do it again. If you don’t like it, don’t do it again. This is an opportunity to experience the planet.
5:42 If most of us shut off our experiences of programming. So you’ve deprogrammed that and now you’re out there feeling and enjoying it. And having options. If I don’t like it, then damn it, I’m not doing it again either. So I have choices.
5:57 What keeps you awake at night? Not much. I sleep like a baby. I’m a very happy guy. I love my life. And I also know, since I’m in power, there are things that I can control that I didn’t know in the previous understanding of life.
6:16 And so I feel, look, look at all the wonderful things in my life. It was just sort of like that woman said, you’re too needy. And now it’s like, no, I’m not needy. I got everything. I have it.
6:27 And, you know, I’m not rich. I got enough money to be happy. Okay? And I could be even happier unless as well, because there was a period where I left the university. I had no job. And that was perhaps one of the most enjoyable times of my life.
6:43 And I had made the least amount of money because I had time. If we have time, then you have opportunities to create and to experience and do all that. And that’s, this is a visit. We’re visiting this place. If you’re not enjoying it, you’re missing something really big.
7:01 What scares you? I have trouble with that one. I can’t really give you any particular answer. I’m not afraid of death. And that was the big thing.
7:16 The moment I understood spirituality was the moment this weight lifted off that I didn’t even know I was carrying. And it was protection. Because from the moment we’re infants and we first learn about death, and the first infants, we didn’t even think about our own death. We were thinking about our parents. My mother will die. My father dies.
7:37 But then at some point, oh my God, I’ll die. And then you don’t realize that fear has the subconscious working overtime. As you walk down the street, consciously you’re not paying attention. Your subconscious is scanning every dark corner, looking for anything that can threaten your life. It’s on 24-7-365. It’s out there to protect you. Why? Your greatest fear is I’m going to die.
8:01 What happens if you let go of that fear? All of a sudden it was like this energy that I didn’t realize I was spending 24-7. All of a sudden I wasn’t using it. It was like, oh my God, I feel lighter. I got more energy.
8:13 I’m not afraid. I’m not afraid. And if I’m wrong, well, I won’t know. So these are going to go toward that end with, nope, I’m an immortal spirit. Reincarnation is a reality. It’s been taught to us even from Jesus.
8:30 But then the Council of Nicene’s in 1040, I think it was, took that out of the Bible. So we don’t have that in our collective knowledge anymore. Of course, the Buddhists are all into reincarnation and all that stuff. And the fact is, if you could own that, then you could realize why I’m afraid. Why am I afraid?
8:48 I’ve been here so many times before and I have so many more visits to come if I want that. I had Kevin Kelly in here a few months ago, founder of Wired magazine. And he said, Brian, you’re only as old as the last time you changed your mind. And I was wondering, what have you changed your mind about in, say, the last six months? Is there something new that came in that has you thinking in a new direction?
9:13 I actually don’t think there is much, you know. I mean, it was sort of clean slate when I started to fully understand that my life was being run by my subconscious, which has been programmed by other people. And I had the responsibility. I could rewrite the program. I rewrote most of the ones that were obvious to me.
9:32 And my life has been so beautiful. I just wake up every day. It’s like, oh my God, I’m still here. This is great. Let’s go out and have some more fun.
9:40 And fun could be work if it’s what you like to do. And that’s the thing we have to start looking at is work isn’t, you know, slave. Work should be something you enjoy doing. And most people don’t have that in their life. I love my work.
9:55 I love everything about my life right now. When you think of the word successful, who comes to mind? Could be someone around today or someone in history. Elon Musk. Man, he’s out there.
10:07 He’s got the brains and he’s got the money. And that’s what we needed. Somebody with brains and with money so they can use this to a very effective way. His stuff is amazing. I mean, from the Tesla to SpaceX to the trains, the levitating trains that he’s going to build in the tunnel making.
10:26 I think the guy is fabulous, you know. But I worked in Palo Alto where Stanford is and that’s where Tesla built their cars, their first cars. And when I saw them, I thought, wow, that came right out of Silicon Valley, intelligence of Silicon Valley making the most marvelous car on this planet. Safest car ever, any car has ever been tested. The Tesla is the safest car ever.
10:56 So, at five point scale, the government uses to score safety, Tesla got a 5.5. They said, how could you get more than five on a five point scale? And the answer was they had to cheat. And one of the things is to see what damage when the car turns over, the car would not turn over. They had to physically build an inclined plane that would drive up and force it to turn over because it wouldn’t.
11:19 So, they had to give them extra points because the car is impossible to turn over. Technology.
